Stellantis Executives Visit Dongfeng Lantu to Deepen Cooperation and Expand European Market

Oliver, Executive Vice President of cross-border automaker Stellantis Group and Head of China and Asia-Pacific, recently led a delegation to visit Lantu Automobile, conducted on-site inspections of Lantu's production facilities and comprehensive user centers, and engaged in in-depth consultations and exchanges regarding the two parties' next-stage strategic cooperation.

Oliver gave high praise to Lantu's brand strength and product quality, expressing that Lantu vehicles are highly competitive and hoping that more models can be introduced to Lantu as soon as possible to fully enter the European market.

In fact, earlier this May, Dongfeng Automobile had signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with Stellantis Group, planning to establish a joint venture in Europe, with the joint venture primarily responsible for sales and distribution operations of Lantu Automobile in designated European markets.

This high-level interaction is a critical step in the implementation of Lantu's overseas business following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding to deepen strategic cooperation, indicating that the cooperation between the two parties has moved from preliminary strategic consensus to concrete execution, and Lantu's global layout has officially accelerated.

In fact, Lantu has consistently adhered to a global development path, with its business presence covering more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, and over 240 overseas sales outlets. In April this year, Lantu announced three overseas development strategies, including deepening its European market presence, expanding into the Middle East region, and developing right-hand drive markets, and plans to launch the right-hand drive version of Lantu Dreamer in the second half of this year to further expand its share in overseas markets.
