30th Greater Bay Area Auto Show Opens, New Mengshi M817 Pre-sales Begin

The new Mengshi M817 made its debut at this auto show and opened for pre-sale, with a starting pre-sale price of 370,000 yuan. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun full-stack intelligent technology, features a synchronized upgrade to the 2.0T hybrid powertrain, and delivers a major breakthrough in pure electric range, marking a comprehensive evolution in overall performance.

Regarding range, the new Mengshi M817 offers two battery options: 51.9 kWh and 62.52 kWh. The larger-capacity version achieves a WLTC pure electric range of 207 km. Assuming a daily urban commute of approximately 40 km, a single full charge is sufficient for a week of daily city driving. Additionally, built on a PHEV plug-in hybrid architecture, the CLTC combined range reaches up to 1,300 km, ensuring driving stability and range reliability even in extreme outdoor and off-road cross-country scenarios.

This launch not only introduces the new Mengshi M817 for pre-sale but also unveils the M817 Ultimate, positioned at the pinnacle of performance and intelligence. The M817 Ultimate was previously shown at the Beijing Auto Show as a key outcome of the deepened 2.0 strategic cooperation between Dongfeng and Huawei Qiankun. The new model has undergone a complete overhaul in exterior design, intelligent user experience, and off-road capabilities.

In terms of exterior design, the M817 Ultimate continues the Mengshi family's "Heroic Soul Aesthetics" philosophy with a new body color scheme inspired by the spirit of mountains and rivers, exuding a mighty presence and rugged toughness.

Intelligent driving stands out as the new vehicle's greatest highlight. The M817 Ultimate features the industry's first Huawei Qiankun dual optical path image-level LiDAR, paired with a professional intelligent driving perception system. Road perception accuracy has been boosted to over 95%, capable of stably detecting obstacles up to 120 meters away and 14 centimeters in height. Equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving NCA Off-road Edition, it supports continuous领航 assistance across all scenarios. Whether in daily city commuting or rugged off-road trails, the intelligent driving functions remain uninterrupted, ensuring a stable user experience.

Regarding chassis and powertrain performance, the M817 Ultimate is equipped with Mengshi's all-new intelligent off-road architecture, Panshi Chassis 2.0, and Jimeng Power 2.0 system. The manufacturer's proprietary all-terrain control algorithm is deeply integrated with Huawei Qiankun's XMC digital chassis engine. Combined with the upgraded Panshi Chassis 2.0, vehicle handling has evolved from traditional passive response to active prediction. This enables centimeter-level environmental recognition and millisecond-level dynamic response, balancing the "magic carpet" comfort of city driving with stable control performance on off-road terrain.

The all-new Jimeng Power 2.0 system successfully addresses the traditional high energy consumption and low efficiency issues of rugged off-road vehicles. The new model sees a 49% increase in combined horsepower and a 30% increase in combined torque. It supports sustained driving at an average speed of 140 km/h without battery depletion. Additionally, equipped with 6C ultra-fast charging technology, both performance and energy efficiency have achieved significant breakthroughs, resulting in a substantial upgrade in overall product competitiveness.
