On the 27th, Xiaomi founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun announced on social media that the Xiaomi YU7 GT will officially commence the first batch of vehicle owner deliveries on May 29. The new model was officially launched on May 21, priced at 389,900 yuan. It features a dual-motor powertrain, with a CLTC pure electric range of up to 705 km and a top speed reaching 300 km/h, delivering impressive performance.

The Xiaomi YU7 GT is available in five exterior colors: Cherry Red, Volcanic Grey, Obsidian Black, Pearl White, and Titanium Metallic. Among these, Cherry Red and Volcanic Grey are newly added options. The front retains Xiaomi's signature waterdrop LED headlights with an openwork design, complemented by a sculpted front splitter, enhanced rear diffuser, and large-sized brake calipers, resulting in sharp lines and an aggressive, battle-ready appearance.

The side profile features standard 21-inch wheels, with options for low-drag 'Fantasy Blade' wheels or five-spoke double-layer forged wheels. The new model is equipped with flush door handles, and the body includes 10 integrated air channels totaling 19 vents, effectively optimizing aerodynamic performance. Overall dimensions measure 5,015 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm, creating a long and elegant proportion.

The rear maintains several classic design elements of the Xiaomi SU7, including a dynamic ducktail spoiler and highly recognizable halo taillights. It is further enhanced by an exaggerated vertical-blade diffuser and a dedicated GT badge, reinforcing its exclusive sport positioning.

The interior structure closely follows the current model's architecture but incorporates exclusive details to highlight the GT model's unique identity. The infotainment system runs the Xiaomi HyperOS Intelligent Cockpit, supporting five-screen linkage. The Super Xiao AI voice system enables voice control even when the driver is outside the vehicle, allowing one-touch operation of vehicle functions while offering everyday conversational interaction capabilities.

Interior color options include Track Red, Iris Purple, and Night Flame Black, available in Luxury Sport and Luxury Comfort style modes. All seats come standard with massage functionality, offering six massage modes and three intensity levels for a rich seating experience. Additionally, the new model features standard smart-tinting panoramic glass roof, a GT-exclusive steering wheel, and GT-branded logos and embroidery details in multiple areas, elevating the overall quality.

In terms of space, the new car offers exceptional practicality. Front headroom measures 100 mm, rear headroom 77 mm, and rear knee room 73 mm, ensuring a comfortable rear seating experience. For storage, the front trunk capacity is 141 liters, while the rear trunk offers 660 liters in standard configuration. With the rear seats folded down, maximum cargo capacity expands to 1,740 liters, easily handling daily commuting and cargo needs.

The powertrain is built around Xiaomi's flagship V8s EVO super motor. Compared to the previous-generation V8s motor, the maximum speed has been increased to 28,000 rpm, with a 5.9% boost in power output and a 0.5% improvement in overall efficiency, alongside slightly enhanced range performance. Paired with the dual-motor system, it delivers a peak output of 1,003 horsepower, achieving 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 2.92 seconds, demonstrating formidable acceleration capabilities.

The chassis utilizes the Xiaomi "Jiaolong" Master Edition platform, jointly tuned by Xiaomi Automotive's European R&D center and refined through extreme testing at the Nürburgring circuit. The new model is equipped with dual-valve CDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers, closed dual-chamber air springs, and an eLSD electronic limited-slip differential, balancing everyday ride comfort with stability at high speeds and on race tracks.
