The Leapmotor D99 features a rounded and smooth bullet-shaped body design, paired with the brand's signature split headlight design. The main light source below the front is square-shaped, while the upper through-type light strip incorporates a zigzag design on both sides, creating a unique family style exclusive to Leapmotor. The new car is also equipped with 1-million-pixel DLP projection headlights, combining excellent lighting performance with a high-tech feel.
The body offers five quality color options: Photoelectric White, Liquid Silver, Morning Realm Blue, Sky Dome Grey, and Metallic Black, catering to the aesthetic preferences of different users.

The side of the body features a silver trim outlining the smooth roofline, with the D-pillar intentionally thickened to enhance the body's layering. The sliding door track is hidden beneath the third-row glass, resulting in a clean and simple design. The area above the window frame is fully painted black, paired with polished chrome large-size wheels, significantly enhancing the vehicle's luxury feel.
The roof is equipped with a giant sunroof with an area of 1.46 square meters, with a UV blocking rate exceeding 99.9%. While providing excellent light transmission, it also effectively blocks sun damage.

The rear adopts a through-type taillight design, with the light cluster seamlessly connecting to the rear window to create an integrated visual effect. Below the taillights is the Leapmotor English brand logo "LEAPMOTOR". The new car's taillights feature an embedded ISD smart interactive light screen with unique interactive functions. The entire rear line is rounded and simple, without unnecessary complex designs, following a clean tech style.

The biggest highlight of the new car's interior is the highly flexible multi-mode space design, supporting various full-flat lay combinations, including folding down the first and second rows completely, 180-degree flat lay of the third row, combined flat lay of the second and third rows, etc. Meanwhile, the third row features a practical fishing seat function, adapting to diverse travel scenarios.

The luggage compartment adopts a recessed storage design, achieving a pure flat floor and significantly improving interior space utilization. The second row is equipped with rotatable reverse zero-gravity aviation seats, supporting 90-degree viewing and second/third row face-to-face seating modes. A foldable large table is also installed inside, making it very convenient for rest, office work, or family travel.
Other configurations include an opening sunroof, through-type star ring cabin ambient lighting, etc. Regarding intelligent driving, the new car is equipped with a VLA large model assisted driving system, with comprehensive intelligent assisted driving performance.

The Leapmotor D99 offers two powertrain versions: range-extended and pure electric, meeting the range and usage needs of different users. The range-extended version is equipped with an 800V high-voltage range-extended platform, adopting the industry's first dual-energy motor 4WD range-extended technology, combined with range-extended CTC battery-chassis integrated architecture and an 80.3kWh large-capacity battery pack, balancing range and power performance. The pure electric version is equipped with a full-stack 1000V three-electric system, featuring the CATL 115kWh super hybrid cells, with three-electric technology reaching the industry's top level.
