Wang Junjun, Chairman of Yijing Auto, announced that Yijing‘s first flagship large six‑seat SUV is named the Yijing X9. The new model will debut at the Huawei Qiankun Technology Conference on April 23, followed by a global showcase at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show on April 24.

The DH project, jointly developed by Dongfeng and Huawei with over RMB 10 billion investment over three years, positions the X9 as a flagship “9‑series” large six‑seat SUV. Wang Junjun serves as Chairman, overseeing technology integration, while Zeng Qinglin is Brand General Manager.
The X9 measures 5.3 metres in length with a 3.1‑metre wheelbase, placing it in the full‑size large SUV segment. Official side images reveal a two‑tone floating silver roof, a full‑width daytime running light strip, hidden door handles, privacy glass, and multi‑spoke alloy wheels.

The X9 debuts Huawei‘s latest full‑stack solutions, including next‑gen Qiankun ADAS, HarmonySpace 6, and the world’s most advanced 896‑line dual‑path image‑grade LiDAR. It also features CAS 5.0 six‑dimensional collision avoidance, AI multi‑modal in‑cabin sensing, and XSCENE laser projection.

The April 23 event will also unveil HUAWEI ADS 5, HarmonySpace 6, and the next‑gen XMC digital chassis engine, with the X9 serving as the launch vehicle.

The X9 offers both EV and EREV variants with 800V architecture and all‑wheel drive. Dual‑chamber air suspension, CDC damping, and rear‑wheel steering are expected.

Yijing is a premium intelligent vehicle brand co‑developed by Dongfeng (57 years of manufacturing expertise) and Huawei Qiankun. The brand adopts a joint definition, joint development, and joint office model. The first prototype rolled off the line in December 2025, and cold‑weather testing was completed in January 2026. Yijing plans to launch one new model annually and establish 300 customer service touchpoints by year‑end.
Priced between RMB 380,000 and 520,000, the X9 competes with the Aito M9, Li Auto L9, Nio ES9, and Zhiji LS8. For Hong Kong buyers, this model is worth watching. More details will follow after its debut.
