Although the Wuling Darion EV weighs over 2.4 tonnes, the driving experience is linear and responsive, with brisk acceleration and enough power for uphill sections. The chassis is solid, and the MacPherson front / multi-link rear suspension is tuned for comfort, providing stable cornering without excessive body roll. It offers four driving modes (Eco, Standard, Sport, and Personal), four levels of regenerative braking (Smart, Comfort, Standard, Strong), and adjustable brake feel and steering weight for customisation. A slight drawback is the average sound insulation, with noticeable road noise at higher speeds.
