In the new energy market where competition continues to intensify, Changan Qiyuan delivered a steady yet progressive performance report in July. Deliveries reached 39,841 vehicles that month, with the AQ series increasing by 103% year-on-year. Against the industry background of generally slowing growth, this performance is quite eye-catching. As the new energy sequence under Changan Automobile, Qiyuan, along with brands like Geely Galaxy and Leapmotor, forms part of China's mainstream new energy camp. Beyond the sales figures, what is more worth noting is the gradually clearer product rhythm behind it. Core models continue to sell in volume, new products launch densely, and global layout advances synchronously.

The core supporting this round of growth is the all-new Q05. As Qiyuan's first model oriented to the global market, highlighting "CATL batteries, class-leading body dimensions, comfortable cabin" as three selling points, cumulative sales have already broken through 100,000 units, maintaining a good presence in the compact SUV market. Overseas, after launching in Thailand and Uzbekistan, Q05 further landed in Ethiopia, and the export paths for Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Africa three regions are beginning to take shape. For a model that hasn't been on the market long, being able to sell in volume domestically while spreading overseas indicates its product definition hit the point of mainstream home needs.

Working in synergy with the Q05 is the AQ series' 103% year-on-year growth in July. Among them, A06 is a model that cannot be bypassed. The biggest highlight of this 150,000-level home sedan is the charging efficiency: equipped with an 800V Silicon Carbide high-voltage platform supporting 6C fast charging, official data shows charging battery from 30% to 80% takes about 9 minutes, and 10 minutes can supplement about 330 km of range. CLTC pure electric range offers two versions of 510 km and 630 km. The chassis uses a front double wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension structure. This configuration is not common in the same price segment, and is also the key to A06 being able to stand its ground in the home sedan market.

Q07, also belonging to the AQ series, takes another route. As a mid-size PHEV SUV, it highlights space performance, aiming for travel scenarios for two-children or multi-member families, with cumulative sales also breaking through 100,000 units. Q05, A06, and Q07 cover three sub-segments respectively: compact SUV, home sedan, and mid-size PHEV SUV. Price bands and usage scenarios each have their focus, forming relatively clear division of labor among each other. This blooming in multiple points is an important reason for Qiyuan's sales to maintain relative stability.

What truly added topic value to July was the global premiere of Q06. On July 15, this all-new mid-size SUV made its premiere debut in Shanghai. The styling is led by the Klaus Design Team, officially summarizing its design language as "Flowing Light Aesthetics", attempting to create some identity amidst the increasingly homogenized mid-size SUV appearances. The cabin continues the "Flowing Light into Cabin" concept, emphasizing material texture and immersion. In this price segment, whether design can become a differentiation selling point is debatable, but judging from premiere feedback, Q06 left an impression on the market at least at the visual level, which is a good start for a new car.

Q06's highlights focus on intelligent driving and chassis in two places. It debuts with Tianzhu Pilot Ultra intelligent driving system, cumulative test mileage exceeds 5 million km, covering 185 types of complex scenarios, possessing end-to-end urban pilot capabilities. The Ultra version also introduced VLM Visual Language Models to enhance environmental understanding. The chassis uses an all-aluminum front double wishbone plus rear five-link independent suspension structure, significantly improving handling stability and shock absorption quality. Pure electric version based on 800V platform and supports 6C fast charge. Q06 is expected to officially launch in September, at which time pricing and configuration will be key to fulfilling these selling points.
Overall, Changan Qiyuan's July results are the joint effect of gradually perfecting the product matrix and accumulating user reputation. Steady delivery volume provides the basic foundation. Q05's globalization, A06's charging advantage, Q06's design and intelligent driving, correspond to the three clues of selling volume, technology, and upward breakthrough respectively. Of course, the intensity of new energy market competition will not ease in the short term. Whether Q06 can continue this momentum still depends on actual pricing and delivery performance after launch. For the time being, Qiyuan's displayed product rhythm and system capabilities have let it hold a solid hand of cards on the mainstream new energy table.
