Recently, the all-new Denza Z9GT "Marco Polo New Silk Road" caravan arrived in Shanghai, launching an international exchange event themed "Silk Road Dialogue · Echoes of Civilization". The event gathered representatives from the global cultural, artistic, and commercial sectors, including consuls and consorts from various countries stationed in Shanghai, as well as international haute couture designer Lawrence Xu and international ballet artist Tan Yuanyuan.
The Denza Z9GT is the protagonist of this Eurasian expedition — in June this year, the caravan departed from Rome, Italy, traveled through multiple countries across Eurasia along Marco Polo's eastern route, taking 43 days and covering 15,000 kilometers to arrive in China. It completed real-world multi-scenario tests for new energy technology under complex road conditions such as highways, mountains, deserts, and cities, as well as high and low temperature climates.
The all-new Denza Z9GT is the first mass-produced model equipped with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and fast-charging technology. The pure electric version has a CLTC range of up to 1,036 kilometers, making it the pure electric model with the longest mass-produced range globally. In terms of fast-charging capability, the new car achieves a charging efficiency of "charged well in 5 minutes, fully charged in 9 minutes" — charging from 10% to 70% SOC takes only 5 minutes, 10% to 97% takes only 9 minutes, and even in -30°C low temperature environments, it takes only 12 minutes. In this Silk Road field test, between most cities along the caravan's route, the vehicles did not need to charge midway, truly realizing an anxiety-free experience for intercontinental long-distance travel.
In terms of handling, the all-new Denza Z9GT comes standard with the Yi San Fang vehicle intelligent control technology platform. Relying on three-motor independent drive and rear-wheel dual-motor independent steering technology, the new car can achieve a 4.62-meter minimum turning radius, compass U-turn, and Yi San Fang parking and other functions. The Yi San Fang fast-charging performance version has a total power of 850kW, peak torque of 1,210N·m, and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.7 seconds. Just recently, the all-new Denza Z9GT appeared at the UK Goodwood Festival of Speed, demonstrating the compass-style ultra-small radius U-turn on-site, attracting a large crowd of onlookers. Reports suggest that the Z9GT "captured most of the highlights of this event". Additionally, the Deng Dian-A intelligent air suspension system can adjust suspension height, stiffness, and damping in real-time according to driving modes, balancing comfort and handling.
Since its domestic launch in March this year, the all-new Denza Z9GT has continued to sell well. In June 2026, Denza automobiles' total sales exceeded 20,000 units, with the all-new Denza Z9GT selling 6,445 units in a single month. It led the luxury GT market for three consecutive months and won the sales champion of new energy luxury sedans in the 300,000 yuan class. In the first half of the year, its cumulative sales have exceeded the annual performance of many traditional luxury brand GT models.
Regarding global layout, the all-new Denza Z9GT completed its European launch at the Paris Opera House in April this year; in May, the Denza-co-branded Z9GT customized version created with Swiss luxury brand Chopard was unveiled at the Cannes amfAR Charity Gala, garnering attention from the global top-tier circles with a transaction price of 5.55 million yuan; in July, the new car completed its Asia-Pacific launch at the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; in August, it will officially enter markets in the Middle East such as Dubai. At the same time, Denza's new Super Intelligent Agent will be launched in August, further strengthening the vehicle's AI interaction capabilities.
Recently, the all-new Denza Z9GT also launched two new exterior colors: Midnight Blue and Moonbeam Beige, as well as an Obsidian Black interior color scheme. Among them, the Midnight Blue color has already been launched in the European market, garnering significant attention from overseas users due to its deep and elegant texture. This time it is introduced domestically simultaneously and offered free of charge for a limited time.
From Europe to Asia, from Silk Road field tests to the Goodwood appearance, the all-new Denza Z9GT is gradually completing the identity transformation from China's luxury GT sales champion to a global technology performance flagship, with product strength and a global pace.
