Double Growth in YoY and MoM! Yueda Kia June Sales Reach 25,791 Units

    Recently, Yueda Kia announced June 2026 sales of 25,791 units, a 15.8% increase month-over-month and an 11% increase year-over-year. Monthly sales have broken through 20,000 units for three consecutive months, with cumulative sales from January to June reaching 118,114 units. In the first half of this year, facing the pressure of an overall downward trend in the automotive industry, Yueda Kia firmly implemented the 'In China, For China' strategy. Through measures such as strengthening brand image, enhancing product competitiveness, expanding service channels, and optimizing user experience, it achieved double-digit growth in sales year-over-year and month-over-month for two consecutive months, demonstrating a steady development momentum and strong corporate resilience.

Meanwhile, facing the pressure on the global automotive market, Kia global sales reached 295,720 units in June, with cumulative sales for the first half of the year reaching 1,630,988 units. Sales grew by 2.7% year-over-year against the trend, setting a new high for the first half of the year! Among them, Sportage and Seltos ranked first and second globally for Kia single-vehicle sales with 303,203 units and 177,148 units respectively.

Currently, the 2026 USA/Canada/Mexico World Cup is in full swing. As an official partner of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for nearly 20 years, Kia not only sponsored 660 operational vehicles for this event but also brought a 'World Cup Co-branded Gift' to Chinese consumers: Before July 31, consumers who visit the store for a test drive can participate in a lucky draw to win purchase vouchers worth up to 5,000 yuan, Kia x World Cup x Adidas merchandise sets, and other prizes; sharing the test drive experience also grants a limited edition Kia x World Cup x Adidas official football. Meanwhile, Kia also provided a 2,500 yuan purchase tax subsidy for the new Sportage, K3, and Stonic 3 'One Price' models, and gifted 2,000 yuan fuel cards/electricity cards to customers such as college graduates, newlyweds, families with newborns, as well as educational staff, medical and nursing staff, and media practitioners, showing full sincerity towards Chinese consumers.

It is worth mentioning that as a partner of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for nearly 20 years, Kia holds the exclusive right to select official ball boys/girls globally. For this World Cup, Kia selected 104 teenagers aged 10 to 14 from around the world to serve as ball boys/girls. On July 3, the 2026 USA/Canada/Mexico World Cup knockout stage hosted the Spain vs. Austria Round of 16 match at the Los Angeles Stadium. Amid the deafening cheers of tens of thousands of fans, 11-year-old Liu Shuying, as the only official ball girl for the Chinese delegation in this World Cup, stepped onto the green field alongside world-class players and handed the match ball to the referee personally.

 

In the first half of this year, from the nationwide 'One Price' car purchasing policy launched at the beginning of the year to multiple benefits such as fuel card subsidies and purchase tax reductions landing successively, Yueda Kia continuously rewarded Chinese consumers with super-value car purchasing schemes, effectively lowering the threshold for consumers to buy cars, making prices more transparent and car purchasing more worry-free. In the first half of this year, Yueda Kia has sponsored the Yancheng Marathon for 6 consecutive years and has been the main sponsor of the 'Su-Chao' Yancheng team for 2 consecutive years. As a core global production base for Kia, Yueda Kia's Third Factory fully benchmarks against international first-class manufacturing standards, introducing advanced tools such as Kia's Global Quality Management System (GQMS), MES Manufacturing Execution System, and IQIS Production Completion System, building a full-lifecycle quality management system covering R&D, manufacturing, and after-sales. As of now, Yueda Kia has cumulatively exported over 617,000 vehicles, with export sales breaking through 6.79 billion US dollars, building an export matrix composed of 6 models including EV5, Sportage, Seltos, K5, Sonet, and Morning, covering 91 countries and regions globally such as Australia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia. Engine exports were also impressive, exporting 7,491 units in June, with cumulative exports of about 531,000 units, sold to countries such as Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Kazakhstan, Turkey.
