On October 11, the Paris Motor Show saw a major unveiling, with the Avatr T09 Concept making its global premiere. As the inaugural work of Avatr's flagship series, the new car aims at the 500,000 RMB flagship luxury SUV segment and plans to officially launch within 2026. This car is the culmination of the collaborative technology of Changan, Huawei, and CATL. Its arrival also announces that Avatr's product matrix is officially divided into two series: the Digital Series features effortless luxury, while the Flagship Series where T09 resides features dignified luxury.

First, in terms of design, the Avatr T09 breaks away from the homogenized curved surface style of current new energy vehicles and turns towards architectural expression. The front grille is composed of 362 staggered Avatr LOGO elements forming a 3D relief structure, paired with crystal diamond array headlights with dual-layer diamond cutting craft, offering rich layers when light changes. The vehicle's side features blade lines and waist-curved surfaces, with D-pillar aluminum trim creating a floating roof effect, while crystal door handles and dToF sensor pods dot the body, coexisting power and delicacy. The rear features integrated crystal diamond taillights echoing the front headlights; once lit, they offer variable light and shadow layers, integrating luxury and technology.

Secondly, the most distinctive feature of the Avatr T09's cockpit is its industry-exclusive Vortex Emotional Vortex Interaction System. This lift-able structure is embedded with 118 RGB LED light sources and can link with the whole vehicle status to achieve human-vehicle emotional interaction. Inside the car, an immersive integrated triple screen is equipped: a 10.25-inch driver instrument cluster paired with two 17.2-inch large screens. The screens seamlessly integrate with the air vents and include NFC touch-to-connect functionality, ensuring a smooth interaction experience.

As the vehicle with the highest technical density Avatr has produced so far, the advantages of the three parties are fully realized on the T09. Changan undertook whole vehicle engineering development and chassis basic tuning; Huawei brought Qiankun Intelligent Driving and the new Taihang Smart Control Chassis, giving this large SUV a more flexible handling quality; CATL provides the 71.24kWh Xiaoyao Super Extended-Range Hybrid Battery. The new car is equipped with a 2.0T hybrid engine paired with a three-motor distributed electric drive. System total power exceeds 1,000 horsepower, CLTC pure electric range reaches up to over 400km, balancing performance, range, and safety.

The 500,000 RMB level luxury SUV market has long been held by overseas luxury brands, while the supply of domestic high-end models has always been insufficient. Avatr T09's entry is not a simple comparison of parts stacking, but uses original design, a full suite of intelligent systems, and hybrid architecture to launch an attack on the high-end luxury market. It proves that domestic high-end models already possess the substantive capability to compete on the global stage with traditional luxury brands.

Globalization has always been Avatr's core strategy. Currently, Avatr's business covers 70 countries and regions, with the average price of overseas models exceeding 300,000 RMB, and profitability has been achieved. The Avatr 11 took the number one spot in Thailand's luxury pure electric SUV sales, achieving a 10% market share in Egypt's high-end EV market. Next, the Avatr 06T and 07L will land first in Norway and Spain, officially entering the European market. According to brand planning, by 2030 Avatr will enter over 110 countries and regions, with overseas sales accounting for more than 50% of total sales. The T09 unveiled at the Paris Motor Show is just one of Avatr's trump cards launched for the global high-end market.
