Avatr T09 Paris Debut! Targeting 500,000-Level SUV Market, Launching This Year

Avatr finally revealed its "9-Series" ace. On October 11, the Avatr T09 concept made its global debut in Paris and revealed its interior design for the first time. Built upon an all-new flagship design language and bringing together the highest technical specifications from Changan, Huawei, and CATL, it targets the 500,000-level flagship luxury SUV market and is planned to officially launch within 2026.

Avatr Technology Chairman Chen Zhuo stated: "With the launch of the T09, Avatr will form two product sequences: Digital and Flagship. The Digital sequence features casual luxury, corresponding to elegant, sporty, and personalized avant-garde designs; Avatr 11, 12, 07, 06 all belong to this sequence; the Flagship sequence respects luxury, corresponding to a noble, calm, and charismatic flagship design; the T09 is indeed the pioneering work of the Flagship sequence."

Avatr's Highest Technology Density Production Vehicle to Date

Unlike the futuristic, sporty, and personalized style of previous Avatr 11 and 12 models, the T09 is built with an all-new flagship design language, with a posture closer to the presence of traditional luxury large SUVs, fully showing flagship style. The new car's front face adopts a 3D relief structured grille, crystal diamond array headlight groups, a 2.1 m² super-sized clamshell hood combined with island-style raised sections on both sides, one-piece crystal diamond taillights, etc., creating an all-new noble experience.

In terms of cabin, the new Vortex Emotion Vortex adopts a 360° seamless two-stage reverse curved surface and lift-up design, built-in with 118 RGB LED matrix light sources, which can create various smart light effects with the whole vehicle ambient lighting. Paired with an immersive integrated triple screen (10.25-inch driver instrument panel paired with dual 17.2-inch central control screen and passenger screen, built-in NFC function), making technology warmer and emotional intelligence further sublimated.

Beyond its unique design, the Avatr T09 possesses flagship-level technology configurations and is the production vehicle with the highest technology density for the brand to date. The new car deeply integrates Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving and the new Taihang Intelligent Control technology, achieving leading-class smart flexible control and million-level luxury driving quality. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with new smart super hybrid technology, equipped with a 2.0T hybrid engine and three-motor distributed electric drive, system total power exceeding 1,000 horsepower; equipped with 71.24 kWh CATL Xiaoyao Super Plus-Hybrid Battery, CLTC pure electric range highest exceeds 400 km, balancing long range and high safety, covering users' full-scenario travel needs.

With Paris as the Pivot, Officially Entering the European Market in 2027

It is reported that Avatr will officially enter Europe in 2027. Among them, Avatr 06T and 07L will land in Norway and Spain as the first batch of core products. With this, Avatr has built an overseas service system based on the principles of "Unified Standards, Local Execution, System Support, Brand Supervision". In the next three years, Avatr will continue to improve its European product matrix and services.

Currently, Avatr's overseas business has expanded to 70 countries and regions, with an average product selling price exceeding 300,000 yuan, and has achieved profitability. Among them, the market share of high-end EVs in Egypt reaches 10%; Avatr 11 is the sales leader in Thailand's luxury pure electric SUV market. In 2030, Avatr plans to enter more than 110 countries and regions, with overseas sales accounting for more than 50% of total sales.

Avatr T09's official positioning given by the company is "500,000-level Tech New Flagship". Currently in the large six-seat flagship SUV market, AITO M9, Li Auto L9, Nio ES9, Zeekr 9X and other star models have already established market awareness. The latecomer Avatr T09 looks okay in terms of product power now, but whether it can make a breakthrough in the 500,000-level market depends on the final price sheet.
