10,000 Li Silk Road Journey Concludes Successfully, BYD Green Energy Strength Shines Overseas

On August 25, the 2026 Silk Road 10,000 Li Journey · Road of Enlightenment event concluded smoothly in Singapore. This event was fully escorted by BYD. Li Yunfei of BYD and Zhang Liye, Chairman of Shaanxi Broadcasting and Media Convergence Group, jointly announced the conclusion of the event. The entire journey took 33 days, with the fleet driving over 10,000 kilometers. Departing from Xi'an, the convoy crossed six provinces domestically, passing through Thailand and Malaysia, and finally arrived in Singapore. Green energy accompanies the long Silk Road journey. The ancient Silk Road, supported by new energy technology today, has a brand new travel appearance.

The convoy lineup for this expedition was very complete, gathering BYD's Dynasty, Ocean, Denza, Fang Cheng Bao, and Yangwang models from five networks and four brands. It handled various complex road conditions including highways, mountainous areas, and urban congestion throughout the journey, truly completing long-distance actual road condition tests. The most intuitive aspect was the practical advantages of BYD's two core technologies. Its flash charging technology can achieve a 5-minute quick charge and 9-minute full charge. Relying on a comprehensive flash charging station network, it thoroughly solved the energy replenishment challenge for long-distance travel. Paired with the continuously iterated 'God's Eye' assisted driving system, optimizing performance based on massive real road data, it effectively alleviated fatigue from long-distance driving and ensured smooth passage throughout.

After years of deep cultivation in overseas markets, BYD's strength has long been recognized. In the Singapore market with strict purchase thresholds, BYD has long remained at the top of local passenger car sales, with market share continuing to rise. Not just Singapore, since the beginning of this year, BYD's overseas sales have grown significantly, winning the new energy vehicle sales champion in multiple countries, with footprints spanning over 100 countries and regions globally.
