Launching the Mona L03 during the Munich Motor Show.
It is worth noting that XPeng's global total sales now exceed 1.2 million units, with over 1,200 stores opened, and business covering 65 countries.
It is considered the earliest new force to test the overseas market, departing for Norway in 2020.
Six years have passed in the blink of an eye. XPeng's overseas cumulative sales have broken 100,000 units, ranking first among new forces.
Achieving this ranking relies on simultaneous efforts in both Europe and Asia-Pacific.
60% of XPeng's overseas sales come from Europe. In the first half of the year, around 18,000 units were sold across 21 European countries, a year-on-year surge of 154%.
In difficult markets like Denmark and Norway, XPeng has secured the top position among Chinese new force pure electric vehicles.
Asia-Pacific is not left behind either. Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia are all expanding. Indonesia and Malaysia have already started local vehicle manufacturing. Australia will launch 5 new models in the next half year.
XPeng's previous overseas markets mainly relied on G6 and G9 to support sales. Now the Mona L03 takes over, and there are still many volume-selling cars ready to go overseas.
It is clear that XPeng's overseas expansion is not just a face-saving project. Looking forward to the performance in the second half of the year~
