TESLA Model Y combines five-seat practicality with generous cargo capacity

The clean SUV silhouette and restrained surfacing give the car a modern, uncluttered presence. Alloy wheels and the panoramic glass roof complement that minimalist theme, while six exterior colours provide a useful mix of subtle and brighter finishes. Matrix LED headlamps, adaptive high beam and LED daytime running lights also add practical lighting technology to the design.

The cabin takes a screen-led approach, with a 16-inch central display and touch-screen gear selection keeping the dashboard visually simple. Both front seats have electric adjustment, while heating and ventilation make them better suited to changing Hong Kong weather. The driver also gets seat and steering-wheel memory, and rear passengers benefit from electric backrest adjustment and seat heating. Dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, air-quality monitoring, PM2.5 filtration and an air purifier round out a particularly broad comfort package.

The official 5.9-second 0–100 km/h time provides a confident reserve for joining faster roads and completing overtaking manoeuvres. Its 175 kW maximum rapid-charging capability also supports shorter charging stops when connected to a suitable high-power charger.

The five-seat layout is well suited to everyday family use, and luggage carrying is a clear strength. With cargo capacity reaching 2,138 litres, the Model Y can accommodate substantially more than routine shopping or commuting gear, making it practical for airport runs, bulky items and longer family trips.

The safety package addresses both accident avoidance and occupant protection. Active braking, lane-keeping assistance, traction control and stability control help manage common road hazards, while front, side, curtain and centre airbags provide protection across the cabin. Tyre-pressure display, full-cabin seat-belt reminders, child-seat mounting points and pedestrian protection add useful safeguards for daily family driving.

The all-electric drivetrain avoids petrol use, while the 488 km WLTC rating gives drivers a broad planning window between charging stops. That range is particularly useful for combining regular Hong Kong commuting with occasional longer journeys.
