Its upright proportions, angular front treatment and squared-off bodywork give the RAV4 a purposeful SUV character. The 4,620 mm body remains reasonably manageable for Hong Kong roads, while the 1,880 mm width and 1,730 mm height create a planted, substantial stance.

The cabin places a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and 12.9-inch centre screen prominently within the driver’s view. CarPlay, front wireless charging and a multifunction leather steering wheel cover everyday connectivity well. Electric adjustment with lumbar support for the driver, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control and rear air vents also make the five-seat layout practical for regular family use.

A 138 kW petrol engine works alongside front and rear electric motors, with the motors producing 139.9 kW and 329 Nm in total. The front motor handles the larger share, while the rear unit adds another 39.9 kW and 121 Nm. This arrangement gives the hybrid powertrain substantial electric assistance across both ends of the vehicle.

A 2,690 mm wheelbase and 1,730 mm body height provide the packaging foundation for a conventional five-seat cabin. The luggage compartment offers 489 to 732 litres, giving owners useful flexibility for weekly shopping, airport runs and family trips without moving to a larger seven-seat SUV.

Safety equipment is comprehensive, combining ABS, brake-force distribution, traction control and stability control with front, side, curtain, driver-knee and front-centre airbags. Lane-keeping assistance, active emergency braking and front cross-traffic braking add support in common road situations, while tyre-pressure monitoring and child-seat mounting points cover useful day-to-day safety needs.

The petrol-electric hybrid records a WLTC combined consumption figure of 6.1 L/100km, equivalent to 16.39 km/L. That gives Hong Kong drivers a straightforward reference point when estimating fuel costs for mixed urban and longer-distance use.
