In the past few years, when the industry saw a surge of entrants into the A0-level pure electric track, many felt it was a low-barrier business—make a rounded cute shell, install enough battery, set an attractive price, and you can make money by selling low volume at low prices. The reality is, after fighting "hard battles" for several years, very few surviving models remain. In such a market environment, the figure of the Bingo Family reaching cumulative deliveries of over 800,000 units appears even more precious.

The number 800,000 carries heavy weight in the A0-level sub-track. Users in this price bracket buy cars by repeatedly comparing with their daily commute wages; their decisions are exceptionally pragmatic—they care about real usage experience, calculate charging costs, maintenance costs, residual value of later car replacement. Any flashy but impractical marketing points are hard to move this group of users. The base of 800,000 users retained by the Bingo Family relies on iteratively improving products slowly according to user feedback over these many years, and through a complete product matrix covering commuting needs of different users: young women just entering the workforce, small family users who need to balance family outings, commuters living in far suburbs needing long range, each version corresponds to real existing usage scenarios.

Since the Bingo launched in 2023, within three years Bingo completed the upgrade from a single car to a product family, with the family lineup continuously enriching. Products not only stabilized in the domestic market but also expanded overseas to multiple countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan; in August-September 2026, the Bingo Family achieved consecutive single-month sales exceeding 20,000 units, joining the TOP 2 camp for small new energy sedan sales.

As the volume-selling main force in the family, the Bingo Pro has fully detailed the home commuting scenarios. In terms of space, the five-door structure allows rear passengers to enter/exit without troubling front passengers to fold seats; rear legroom is sufficient for two adults daily without crowding. On weekends, when meeting friends for near-suburb outings, folding down the rear seats can fit camping tents and folding picnic carts. The trunk's organization is high, fitting two carry-on suitcases plus a week's fresh grocery supply with no pressure.

Combined with the Bingo Pro's compact body size control, in old residential complex narrow side parking spots or temporary parking spots at commercial entrances, turning the wheel twice is enough to park, novice drivers won't struggle with parking. On the safety level, the full vehicle three-electric system has all-scenario daily protection. Summer exposure in open-air parking lots, winter low-temperature outings, rain passing through waterlogged sections, all have corresponding structural designs as backup. Basic driving safety configurations are fully equipped, tire pressure monitoring prompts are clear, 540° panoramic image quality is sufficient to see, helping to clear wheel-side blind spots during narrow road encounters and reversing, reducing minor scratches and bumps novice drivers often encounter. Meanwhile, the Bingo Pro, relying on the sincerity of 80 high-level configurations being standard across all trims, broke the industry convention of entry-level versions and high-spec surcharges.

The Bingo S, focusing on young and sporty features, besides the familiar 525km long-range version, also made many targeted experience upgrades. Users living in far suburbs commuting dozens of kilometers across districts daily, no longer need to choose large-sized, hard-to-park compact models for long range. Charging once a week covers the entire commute distance; just top up on the way home from work, no need to detour specifically occupying rest time.

On the exterior, sporty detail kits are added, lines are sharper than the base model, color schemes are more vibrant, fitting young users' aesthetic preferences. The smart cockpit part is equipped with Lingyu AI Large Model. After getting on board, shouting once completes operations like opening windows, adjusting AC, setting navigation, changing songs. While driving, no need to reach out to tap the screen; recognition response is fast, and it supports continuous voice command recognition.

Hardcore product power also garnered many industry authoritative awards: Bingo S won the International CMF Design Award, Hualu Award Annual Quality Sedan, it is the only A0-level vehicle to obtain "2025 China's Top 10 Bodies"; Bingo Pro's equipped 12-in-1 electric drive system obtained the first domestic China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Five-Star Quality Electric Drive Certification. Design, body safety, and three-electric capabilities all received high recognition at the professional level.

Competition in the commuter car track has never been about whose parameters are more impressive or whose marketing volume is louder; it is about who controls user needs more precisely. The Bingo Family has solidified space, smart, and safety experiences, and naturally will gain long-term user recognition.

In recent years, demand changes in the commuter car market have been significant. Cars are no longer just "four wheels plus a shell," but an extension of daily life—they need to look good, be easy to drive, and accommodate weekend shopping and camping gear. The commuter car market has thus shifted from a competition of "good enough" to "quality versus price." To understand why, just look at the trend of the Bingo Family under SAIC-GM-Wuling over these past few years to understand.

Just recently, the Bingo Family's cumulative sales reached an 800,000-unit milestone. From entering the market in 2023 to now, the Bingo Family successively launched models such as Bingo, Bingo Plus, Bingo S, and Bingo Pro, selling 800,000 units in a little over three years. Furthermore, the Bingo Family is not limited to the domestic market, having also expanded into overseas markets like Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, and more. In August-September of this year, the family achieved consecutive monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units, firmly securing the top 2 position in small new energy sedan sales.

Looking back, the Bingo Family's ability to reach this sales volume essentially hit the beat of changing market demand. Users buying commuter cars now include young women just entering the workforce, young mothers balancing career and family, and urban families yearning for a free lifestyle. These users no longer just want a drivable car. Commuting distances in cities are not short, and factors like charging convenience, spatial flexibility, and the impression made when driving out to meet friends all influence decisions. The Bingo Family's intelligence lies in not betting on just one car, but using products with different positioning to cater to users with different needs.

First, look at the Bingo Pro. This car has a clear positioning: building on the concept of commuting, it completes the experience of "refined travel". The body is just over 4 meters long, with a wheelbase of 2560mm; while it doesn't look large, it uses a 5-door 5-seat layout. The internal space utilization rate reaches 84.8%, rear legroom is 832mm, and for a person around 1.7m tall, there is more than a fist's distance between their knees and the front seat. Trunk space can expand to 1370L after folding the rear seats, basically avoiding the common "small" issues of commuter cars.

Regarding power, it uses a 12-in-1 highly integrated electric drive, with 100km electricity consumption reduced to around 10.4kWh. The 403km version also supports 3C fast charging, capable of charging from 30% to 80% in 15 minutes, so charging once or twice a week is enough for daily commuting. The vehicle comes equipped with a 12.8-inch large screen, supporting phone interconnection; you can screen mirror directly when getting in to use apps from your phone, which is convenient and practical for young people.

Next, look at the Bingo S. What makes this car memorable is that it achieved a maximum range of 525km—which, among commuter cars of this level, counts as a rare long-range contender. You know, many small cars at the same price point are still hovering around the 400km mark. What does 525km mean? It's more than enough to charge once a week for daily commuting. On weekends, you can drive from the city to the suburbs, or even around the neighboring city, without needing to find a charging station midway. For users without home charging conditions who don't want to be tied down by range, this offers much greater flexibility.

Of course, it didn't just bet on range. The 4265mm length combined with a good space utilization rate makes the space feel spacious among similar models; the 75kW motor power makes it drive lightly and sufficiently in the city. The design uses Gilded Light aesthetics, featuring wing-style LED headlights and full-width taillights, with multiple color options favored by young people, making the appearance truly distinctive. But what really grabs attention is still the confidence provided by the 525km range.

Not only have market sales risen steadily, but the product strength of the Bingo Family has also gained significant authoritative endorsement. The Bingo S won the International CMF Design Award and the Hualu Award for Sedan of the Year, becoming the only A0-level model listed on the "2025 Top 10 Chinese Bodies". The 12-in-1 electric drive equipped on the Bingo Pro is the industry's first electric drive system to obtain the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Five-Star Quality Electric Drive Certification, with design, body safety, and core three-electric systems all receiving high recognition from the industry.

In the end, these 800,000 units of the Bingo Family sell "what a commuter car should look like": the price is not expensive, but hard indicators such as space, range, and configurations are all maintained, and product tiering was done for different groups. The commuter car market is still changing, but as long as the demand logic hasn't changed, products that hit the rhythm accurately will still have their place. On October 22, SAIC-GM-Wuling officially announced that the cumulative sales of the Bingo family have officially exceeded 800,000 units. Since the launch of the first Wuling Bingo in 2023, this family has sequentially introduced models such as Bingo, Bingo PLUS, Bingo S, and Bingo Pro, reaching a cumulative sales of 800,000 units in three years. In August and September 2026, the monthly sales of the Bingo family exceeded 20,000 units each, ranking in the TOP 2 of small new energy sedan sales. As a reference, the cumulative global sales of Wuling commuter cars have exceeded 3,000,000 units.

In terms of products, the Bingo family has formed a product matrix covering different range, space, and configuration needs. From the entry-level version focusing on exquisite and small design to the advanced models with long range and large space, CLTC range covers 203km to 525km, corresponding to different usage scenarios such as short-distance commuting, city commuting, and nearby travel. Among them, the Bingo Pro launched in May 2026 is priced from 56,800 to 70,800 yuan, with cumulative sales exceeding 50,000 units within 80 days of launch; Bingo S offers three range versions of 325km, 430km, and 525km.

In terms of design, the retro and rounded styling is a signature feature of the Bingo family, officially summarized as the "Retro Fluid Aesthetics" design language. This year, the Wuling Bingo "Automobile" appearance design patent won the Silver Prize for Chinese Industrial Design at the 26th China Patent Award. In terms of practicality, multiple models are equipped with a sunken trunk. Taking the Bingo Pro as an example, its space utilization rate reaches 84.8%, and the storage space can be expanded to 1,370L after folding the rear seats, capable of accommodating large items such as strollers and camping equipment; the infotainment system is equipped with the LingOS system, supporting AI voice interaction without a wake word. The Bingo S is equipped with an upgraded smart cockpit, integrating large AI model capabilities to achieve smoother human-machine dialogue. According to official information, the Bingo S has been awarded "2025 China Top 10 Car Bodies", with a high-strength steel ratio of the white body reaching 74.5%, and four airbags are standard across the entire series.

In terms of charging, family models support fast charging. Taking the Bingo Pro 403km version as an example, it takes about 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, capable of adapting to different charging scenarios such as public fast charging and home slow charging. In terms of channels, relying on Wuling's relatively widespread distribution and service network, users can obtain corresponding service support in the purchasing and maintenance links.

Against the background of increasingly fierce competition in the A0-class pure electric market, the Bingo family has continued its product positioning aimed at ordinary family users, maintaining a balance between price, space, and configuration. The cumulative sales of 800,000 units reflect the scale of real-world demand for commuting in this price segment. Currently, the Bingo family has entered overseas markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Pakistan. SAIC-GM-Wuling stated that it will continue to promote the product layout of new energy commuter cars in the direction of premiumization and globalization.
