Zenvo Automotive is a highly exclusive Danish hypercar manufacturer headquartered in Præstø, Zealand, Denmark, dedicated to hand-building high-performance, limited-edition ultimate driving machines. The brand was co-founded by Jesper Jensen and Troels Vollertsen in 2007, with the name derived from the combination of their surnames. Zenvo's sole goal is to create "unique" hand-built supercars, making it the only supercar brand in Denmark. The brand is controlled by Russian capital, producing fewer than ten cars annually and providing personalized customization services for high-end clients with verified identities.

Development History

Zenvo's project launched in 2004, underwent five years of careful refinement, and officially released its first mass-produced car in 2009—the ST1, equipped with a 7.0L V8 twin-charged engine and limited to only 15 units globally, establishing the brand's pure lineage. In 2016, the brand launched the comprehensively optimized TS1 and the TSR, born for the track. In 2018, the TSR-S, known as the "Highway Beast," was released, introducing cutting-edge technologies such as full carbon fiber wheels. In 2021, former Koenigsegg executive Jens Sverdrup joined, proposing a new concept to revitalize the brand. In August 2023, the brand officially unveiled its groundbreaking new flagship in the US—the Zenvo Aurora—and completed its dynamic debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Product Portfolio

Zenvo's product line is extremely rare, consisting of a series of classic V8 models and brand-new V12 hybrid models.

ST1 (2009–2016): Equipped with a 6.8L twin-charged V8, maximum power of 1,104 horsepower, limited to 15 units.

TS Series (2016–2023): Includes the high-performance road car TS1 GT and the track-focused TSR, equipped with a 5.8L twin-supercharged V8, with maximum power increased to 1,194 horsepower.

TSR-S (2018–2023): A more extreme performance version featuring an aggressively exaggerated aerodynamic kit.

Aurora (production from 2026): Zenvo's new era flagship, limited to 100 units globally. Among them, the Tur is the road all-wheel-drive flagship, while the Agil is the rear-wheel-drive track weapon.

Market Performance

Zenvo does not compete on volume; every car is a "unique piece" for top collectors. In 2023, the company successfully turned around its financial situation, achieving its first profit since 2018 (after-tax profit of 16.6 million Danish kroner), reversing a loss of nearly 6 million from 2022 into a profit. By the end of 2025, the all-new Aurora had accumulated 14 global partners, and the dealer network had expanded to 14 locations. During 2025, the Aurora completed major debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the California Monterey Car Week.

Core Technology

Zenvo's core technology is based on its brand-new modular V12 platform, Mjølner. The engine, named after Thor's Hammer, was fully developed jointly by Zenvo and Mahle Powertrain, with a displacement of 6.6L. It adopts a "Hot V" layout integrating four small turbochargers, with a maximum speed of 9,800 rpm, capable of unleashing 1,250 horsepower. Core technology also includes Mahle-developed Jet Ignition pre-chamber technology, capable of achieving Lambda 1 homogeneous combustion, greatly improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions. By matching with a three-motor hybrid system, the vehicle's total combined power soars to a stunning 1,850 horsepower. In addition, the entire vehicle uses a brand-new carbon fiber monocoque chassis and ultimate lightweight craftsmanship, with the hardest-core Agil version having its vehicle weight controlled within 1,300 kg.

Global Presence

Overseas markets are the absolute lifeline of Zenvo, with a very high sales proportion. The United States is the brand's largest market to date, with over 60% of vehicles sold to the US, mainly concentrated in California, Florida, and other regions. The brand has authorized top dealers such as Galpin Motors to cover the entire US market. In the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong/Macau markets, the brand's official agent is Sunning Motors, which has been conducting business in Hong Kong's Shatin district since 2024, with a base price starting from 2.59 million euros. In addition, the European home market, Japan, and Singapore are also important strongholds.

Future Outlook

The year 2026 will be a pivotal year for Zenvo to move from a "small-scale business" to a "top-tier brand," with the brand expected to officially deliver the Aurora to a hundred distinguished owners globally this year. Looking ahead, according to its development blueprint, Zenvo will continue to deepen its self-developed "Mjølner" modular engine architecture, deriving more powerful versions of its supercars. Brand executives have confirmed that after the V12, a pure V10 naturally aspirated engine with power exceeding 800 horsepower has also entered the development program, and the brand will continue to stick to the core of internal combustion engines driven by "driving passion".
