Togg (Türkiye'nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu) is Turkey’s first national electric vehicle manufacturer, founded on June 25, 2018. The brand was jointly established by five major Turkish enterprises and industry associations: Anadolu Group, BMC, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Zorlu Holding, and Turkcell. Togg represents the world’s first national-level intelligent vehicle project initiated personally by the President, with all intellectual property rights belonging entirely to Turkey. Its factory in Gemlik, Bursa Province, commenced production in 2022, with an annual planned capacity of up to 175,000 vehicles. By the end of 2025, Togg had cumulatively delivered over 100,000 electric vehicles, making it the best-selling electric vehicle brand in Turkey.

In June 2018, driven by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Togg was officially established as a national industrial project, aiming to transform Turkey into a global technology and manufacturing center through electrification and mobility technologies. On December 27, 2019, the first prototype vehicle T10X was unveiled in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
On October 29, 2022—the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey—the Togg Gemlik Technology Park was officially launched, with the first mass production line commencing operations on the same day, and the first mass-produced vehicle, the T10X all-electric SUV, rolled off the line. In March 2023, Togg announced the pricing for the T10X and launched a lottery-based sales process, receiving over 177,000 purchase intention requests, thereby raising the annual production target from 20,000 to 28,000 units.
In January 2024, Togg debuted on the global stage at the Las Vegas CES, showcasing mass-produced models and the new sedan T10F. By the end of 2024, the Trugo charging network had covered all 81 provinces of Turkey, with over 2,200 charging stations and 4,500 charging sockets installed.
In September 2025, Togg officially commenced its internationalization process, selecting Germany as the first stop, making a public appearance at IAA MOBILITY 2025, and formally launching sales of the T10X and T10F in Germany on the 29th of the same month. Throughout 2025, Togg secured the title of Turkey's best-selling electric vehicle brand with sales of 39,020 units, surpassing Tesla and BYD. In December 2025, the T10F became the best-selling single-month pure electric vehicle model in the Turkish market with 5,345 registrations.
Togg's product line is developed based on its self-developed dedicated electric platform, using a combination of letters and numbers for naming, where F stands for sedan (fastback) and X stands for SUV. The models launched by 2026 and prior are as follows:

Additionally, Togg's third model series T6 will be launched as early as 2027, positioned more affordably, potentially including T6F sedan and T6X SUV versions. According to product planning, Class B SUV T8X, Class B Coupe SUV T8CX, and Class C MPV T10V will also be launched between 2026 and 2030. The higher-end T12 series has also been included in the blueprint.
Togg has achieved performance far exceeding expectations in the Turkish market. As of September 2025, cumulative deliveries in the local Turkish market reached 73,001 units; by early 2026, cumulative deliveries had broken the 100,000-unit milestone. Throughout 2025, T10X production was approximately 28,000 units, T10F production was approximately 10,000 units; total production was approximately 40,000 units. Annual sales reached 39,020 units, holding about 21% share of the Turkish pure electric vehicle market, surpassing Tesla's 31,509 units and BYD's 19,679 units. The T10F took the sales champion title for electric vehicle models in December 2025 with 5,345 registrations, with the T10X ranking second with 1,960 units.
In terms of brand reputation, Togg ranked 20th among the Top 125 Most Valuable Brands in Turkey for 2025 by Brand Finance, and was also listed on the Istanbul Industry Association's Top 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises in Turkey list. Both T10X and T10F received the highest five-star safety rating in Euro NCAP crash tests, standardly equipped with 7 airbags and a high-intensity passenger compartment.
In the field of core technology, Togg relies on three pillars: self-developed platforms, intelligent ecosystems, and open cooperation.
Regarding platform development, Togg's first mass-produced vehicle is based on a self-developed dedicated electric platform, supporting rear-wheel and four-wheel drive layouts, compatible with both LFP and NMC battery chemical systems, laying the foundation for subsequent vehicle development. Its operating system and digital service ecosystem Trumore were fully self-developed by Togg, integrating interconnected features such as navigation, entertainment, and smart voice assistants, allowing users to complete vehicle configuration, order payment, and mobility service management via a mobile App. Trumore has an active user community locally in Turkey.
In May 2026, Togg welcomed major technological upgrades. CATL's subsidiary CAT Intelligence (CAIT) officially reached a Pan Shi Chassis mass production cooperation agreement with Togg, becoming the first project in China where an integrated intelligent chassis supplies the overseas passenger vehicle market. The two parties will jointly develop 3 smart electric vehicles under Togg's new Class B platform, with the first model planned for mass production in 2027. The Pan Shi Chassis adopts a "battery-centric" integrated architecture, integrating core components such as battery packs, electric drive systems, thermal management, and chassis controllers into one platform, which can significantly shorten development cycles and reduce production costs. Under this cooperation framework, Togg leads user experience design, overall vehicle product requirement definition, and digital architecture construction, while CATL provides engineering technical support.
Regarding charging infrastructure, Togg's subsidiary Trugo has built over 2,200 charging stations and 4,500 charging sockets in all 81 provinces of Turkey, effectively solving the charging pain points for Turkish electric vehicle users.
Togg's internationalization process officially launched in September 2025, selecting the German market with a large Turkish diaspora community as the first stop. On September 29, 2025, the T10X and T10F orders commenced simultaneously in Germany, with the first batch quota totaling 1,000 units, starting prices ranging from €41,200 to €46,190. The first batch of vehicles will be delivered in two shipments: 600 units delivered within 2025, and the remaining 400 units starting from early 2026. By the end of 2025, cumulative deliveries of Togg in the German market exceeded 144 units. Togg has clearly stated it will further expand to European countries such as France, Italy, Netherlands, and Sweden after the German market.
At the level of global cooperation, the Pan Shi Chassis cooperation project with CATL balances the market demands of both Turkey and Europe, planning to launch the new Class B electric vehicle models simultaneously in the Turkish and European markets in 2027. Togg plans to achieve the long-term goal of cumulative sales of the entire vehicle series exceeding 1 million units by 2032.
Togg’s future strategic planning is clear. In terms of production, the target for 2026 is 60,000 units, with plans to increase annual capacity to 100,000 units by the end of 2027, and a long-term capacity target of 175,000 units at the Gemlik factory. Regarding products, the Class B SUV T8X, Class B Coupe SUV T8CX, and Class C MPV T10V will be launched sequentially between 2026 and 2030. The T6 series is planned for launch in 2027; positioned more affordably, it will include the T6F and T6X models to cover a wider range of consumer groups. The T12 high-end series has also been included in the planning. In terms of markets, following Germany, Togg plans to expand into core European markets such as France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Regarding technology cooperation, the Pan Shi Chassis project with CATL will accelerate the implementation of the new generation Class B models, further strengthening Togg’s technical competitiveness in the European intelligent electric vehicle market.
