Background: The Li Auto L6 officially debuted in April 2024. It was developed to bridge Li Auto's gap in the RM250,000 to RM300,000 price band, capturing a broader family customer base through more compact exterior dimensions and well-curated equipment specifications.

2024–2025: Following its launch, the L6 swiftly became the brand's prime volume driver, repeatedly topping segment sales charts and demonstrating formidable market appeal.

2026 Facelift: Amid intensifying market competition, Li Auto rolled out the 2026 facelift model. The updated SUV gained a major high-voltage traction battery upgrade (capacity increased to 51 kWh), significantly extending pure electric driving range, alongside refreshed front-end styling, redesigned door handles, and upgraded ADAS perception hardware to take on fully electric competitors.

Powertrain Architecture: Driven by a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender paired with a dual-motor AWD system, delivering a combined output of 300 kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.4 seconds. The 2026 facelift model upgrades to a 51 kWh high-capacity battery pack, notably boosting WLTC pure electric range and substantially cutting everyday fuel consumption.
