The brand was established in 2015, with headquarters in Chongqing, focusing on original design, R&D, production, and sales of various car models. LIMGENE possesses a professional automotive design R&D team and rich experience in complete vehicle design and development. The brand established the Chongqing Modification R&D Center in 2015. In 2021, it partnered with Pengyu Automobile to obtain Fujian Mercedes-Benz authorized modification qualifications and established the Zhuhai Complete Vehicle Production Center, officially entering the high-end automotive customization market. Development History

The brand story of LIMGENE begins with a persistent pursuit of original design. On April 10, 2015, Lingji Automobile (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. (formerly Chongqing Anfuhui Industrial Design Co., Ltd.) was officially established, and renamed to its current name on April 8, 2024. From the very beginning, the company clarified the development concept of taking design as support and quality as the foundation, continuing to cultivate in the field of high-end custom modification.

At the end of 2020, LIMGENE began designing and developing the first high-end MPV model "Nebula"; In 2021, the brand integrated international market resources, officially obtained Fujian Mercedes-Benz authorized modification qualifications. That same year, it partnered with Taiwan Pengyu Automobile to establish a complete vehicle production center in Zhuhai. In January 2022, the first mass-produced vehicle of the "Nebula" series was successfully launched off the line, marking a new stage for LIMGENE to move from design and R&D to complete vehicle manufacturing.

2022 became the breakthrough year for the brand. The Nebula series entered the Chinese market's high-end custom business car field and established its industry position with the title of sales champion in the million-level custom business car category. Since then, the brand has continued to expand its product matrix. In March 2023, it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Malaysia's Nex Group Berhad, officially launching the Southeast Asian market layout. In June 2024, LIMGENE · Jianshan Series was launched at the Chongqing Grand Theatre, marking the brand's first entry into the high-end custom off-road vehicle field. In September 2025, the brand held the first stop of the "Drive to Meet the World · Customized Extraordinary" global launch event in Dubai, formally embarking on its global strategy.

Brand Matrix / Product Line

LIMGENE has now constructed a product matrix covering two major categories: Business MPV and Hardcore Off-road SUV. All models are deeply customized based on factory chassis.

Nebula Series: flagship MPV series, positioned as million-level luxury business cars, built on the Fujian Mercedes-Benz V-Class/V260L platform. This series is LIMGENE's premier product line, offering multiple versions including 2025 and 2026 models, such as Nebula Weilong, Magellan Collector's Edition, Nebula 10th Anniversary Edition, etc. Powertrain equipped with 2.0T gasoline engine + 48V mild-hybrid system, matched with manual-automatic transmission. Manufacturer's suggested retail price range is 1.312 million to 1.462 million RMB (2025 model). Body dimensions are 5445mm x 1928mm x 1998mm. Interior uses Italian Alcantara material, German Caucasus region small bull Napa top-grain leather, and other top materials.

Weitu Series: MPV product line launched by the brand in 2024, positioned slightly lower than the Nebula series, also developed based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class chassis. Manufacturer's suggested retail price is approximately 688,000 RMB. Powertrain equipped with 2.0T engine, maximum power 155kW, peak torque 350N·m, matched with manual-automatic transmission. This series maintains luxury business attributes while having stronger cost-performance ratio advantages. The trunk space is flexibly expandable, meeting both business reception and family travel dual scenario needs.

Jianshan Series: High-end custom off-road vehicle series launched by the brand in June 2024, built on the new Land Rover Defender platform. This series is LIMGENE's first foray into the million-level hardcore off-road field, focusing on the "Wild Luxury" design concept, combining hardcore off-road capability with top-grade luxury interior. The launch event was held at the Chongqing Grand Theatre, specially inviting international partners such as Malaysia's Nex Group and UK's 365 Exclusive Limited to participate, reflecting the brand's global vision.

Jinma Collector's Edition: Limited edition model released by the brand in April 2026, deeply co-created based on the LIMGENE Weilong base and strategic cooperation with Zhongma Group. This model takes "Jinma" as the core design language, integrating Eastern auspicious elements such as "Golden Horse Jade Hall, Horse to Success". Every car has a unique serial number, globally limited to only 68 units.

Market Performance

LIMGENE performs prominently in the Chinese million-level custom business car market. In 2022, the LIMGENE Nebula series became the sales champion of million-level custom business cars as soon as it was launched. Since then, the brand has maintained strong competitiveness in this sub-market, competing with international modification brands such as Lorinser, Kedi, and Venus. In the horizontal review of million-level MPVs by mainstream professional automotive media, the Nebula series has received high attention for its luxury texture and tech configuration, thanks to its full-stack self-developed smart cockpit and carbon fiber lightweight technology.

Since the Weitu series was launched, it has shown strong competitiveness in the same-level market relying on the starting price of 688,000 RMB. As LIMGENE's debut in the off-road field, the Jianshan series has also attracted widespread attention in the high-end off-road modification sub-market.

Core Technology

LIMGENE's core competitiveness is in four major areas: powertrain, interior materials, smart cockpit, and body lightweighting, adopting the technical strategy of "Powertrain Outsourcing + Interior Self-Development + Smart Integration".

Powertrain: The Nebula series is equipped with a combination of a 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a 48V mild-hybrid system (ZF 9-speed automatic transmission). This powertrain optimizes fuel economy while providing abundant power (155kW / 350N·m). Ministry of Industry and Information Technology comprehensive fuel consumption is controlled within 9L/100km.

Luxury Interior Material Craftsmanship: LIMGENE is one of the few Chinese modification brands with official cooperation with the Italian Alcantara company. Alcantara material is extensively used in Nebula series interiors. Seat covering uses small bull Napa top-grain leather originally from the Caucasus region of Germany in Europe, matched with purely handcrafted art interior panels. The brand also cooperates with the 3M Acoustics Technology Department to customize a full-car NVH noise reduction system for the Nebula series, reaching top-tier luxury standards in noise insulation and reduction.

Full-Stack Self-Developed Smart Cockpit: In November 2022, LIMGENE signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Morgan Smart to jointly develop a customized smart cockpit system. Morgan Smart is a globally leading smart system service provider, owning over 300 patents. Its MIA (Morgan AI Smart Algorithm) technology can enable smart products to remember user usage habits, giving its models personalized AI capabilities in the cockpit. This system has been applied to the Nebula series, providing users with a highly contextualized luxury smart experience.

Carbon Fiber Lightweight Body: The Nebula series applies carbon fiber lightweight materials in the body structure. This not only improves body rigidity but also helps reduce the whole vehicle weight, thereby optimizing energy consumption and handling performance.

Overseas Layout

LIMGENE is one of the few Chinese high-end custom car brands implementing a global strategy. Its overseas layout covers three major core markets: Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Middle East Market: On September 27, 2025, LIMGENE partnered with BARUGZAI MOTORS to successfully hold the first stop of the "Drive to Meet the World · Customized Extraordinary" global launch event in Dubai, marking the formal launch of the brand's global strategy. Since then, the brand plans to expand the Middle East layout to other emirates of the UAE and the Saudi Arabia market.

Southeast Asia Market: In March 2023, LIMGENE signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Malaysia's Nex Group Berhad company. Subsequently, the Nebula Series - Malaysia Special Customized Version was launched. This customized version mass-produced vehicle was successfully launched off the line at the LIMGENE Zhuhai Factory. Malaysia has become a strategic fulcrum for its entry into the ASEAN market.

Europe Market: On November 5, 2025, LIMGENE held a theme tasting event in Lyon, France, simultaneously announcing its entry into the Mercedes-Benz Lyon flagship showroom. This measure makes it the first brand among Chinese high-end custom car brands to enter the core channel of European luxury cars. Its models have completed regulatory adaptation for the European market. The brand plans to further advance into the German market, continuously deepening its layout in the European high-end custom market.

In addition, the LIMGENE Zhuhai Factory possesses production qualifications and overseas authorization for exporting to Hong Kong, European police cars, special vehicles, motorhomes, and luxury buses. The export unit price of its custom models is not less than 3 million RMB per vehicle.

Future Outlook

LIMGENE's future strategy will unfold around two main lines: "Global Expansion" and "Product Diversity".
