GOVY is the all-new low-altitude flying automotive brand officially launched by GAC Group in December 2024. In the context of the 2026 travel market, GOVY represents the most forefront position for traditional automotive giants transitioning towards the "low-altitude economy" and "3D smart transportation".

GOVY is primarily engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of flying car complete units and low-altitude ecosystem products, as well as Robo-AirTaxi (unmanned flying taxi) operation services. Its core logic is the deep integration of GAC's mature automotive industry chain, three-electric technologies, and aerospace engineering.

2026 Core Product Matrix

GOVY's product line adopts a dual-track technology layout of "multi-rotor" and "hybrid-wing" targeting different travel scenarios:

GOVY AirCab

2026 Major Moves: Launched in Hong Kong and opened for pre-orders in June 2025, with the first mass-produced prototype officially delivered in July 2025. In 2026, this model is carrying out intensive normalized demonstration operations in the Greater Bay Area.

Product Positioning: All-electric multi-rotor flying car, focusing on 20–30 km urban internal and short-haul sea/cross-mountain scenarios.

Technical Highlights: Carbon fiber composite material accounts for over 90% of the whole aircraft, supporting 25-minute fast recharging; equipped with intelligent low-altitude obstacle avoidance and multi-system redundant safety design, securing numerous domestic and international intent orders.

GOVY AirJet (Inter-city High-performance Hybrid-wing)

Product Positioning: Three-seater high-performance hybrid-wing flying car, targeting medium-to-short distance inter-city rapid transit within 200 km.

Performance Metrics: Maximum flight speed reaches 250 km/h, shortening Greater Bay Area cross-city 1-2 hour ground commuting to within 40 minutes.

Solid-state Battery Expectations: In 2026, this model is undergoing technical iterations as an important carrier for GAC's all-solid-state batteries. After future installation of solid-state batteries, its range is expected to directly double and break through 400 km.

GOVY AirCar (Land-Air Decoupled Split-body)

Product Positioning: A flying car adopting a "flying cabin + ground chassis" split configuration, achieving seamless switching between ground driving and low-altitude flight, realizing true end-to-end 3D travel with "one-click direct access, no transfers needed".

2026 Strategic Layout and Market Progress

Implementation of "Greater Bay Area 40-Minute Living Circle": Following the establishment of demonstration sites in Guangzhou and Hong Kong in 2025, GOVY is accelerating the expansion of the low-altitude commuting network to 8 core cities in the Greater Bay Area in 2026.

Certification Push: 2026 is the key year for GOVY models to strive for the airworthiness certificate (TC/PC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Air-Ground Integrated Ecosystem: In 2026, GOVY deeply integrated its platform with GAC's Ruqi Mobility. Users can achieve a seamless one-click smart 3D travel experience of "ground ride-hailing pickup + low-altitude flying car cross-city + destination ground transfer" via the App.

Why do automotive giants build "GOVY"?

High Technical Overlap: Flying cars (eVTOL) and electric vehicles have a technical overlap of up to 70% in electric drive, batteries, airborne communication, and autonomous driving algorithms. GAC's accumulation in "Magazine Battery" and Starling Electronic Electrical Architecture directly benefited GOVY.

Scaling Mass Production Advantages: Leveraging the mature supply chain management and stringent quality control system of the automotive industry, GOVY can effectively lower the manufacturing costs of flying cars during the mass production stage, making true commercial popularization possible.

Future Outlook

As of 2026, GOVY has moved beyond the "PPT concept" stage. Through intensive test flights and prototype deliveries in the Greater Bay Area, it has demonstrated the explosive power of China's low-altitude economy to the world. With the further liberalization of low-altitude airspace management systems in 2027, GOVY is expected to achieve larger-scale commercial implementation in inter-city business shuttle, island tourism, and emergency rescue fields.
