The Acura Integra is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive compact sports sedan (five-door liftback coupe) from Honda's luxury marque, Acura. First introduced in 1985, the model line was Acura's second offering after the Legend. Following the discontinuation of the fourth-generation model in 2001, the nameplate went on an extended hiatus. In 2022, Acura revived this iconic badge with the all-new generation Integra. As of June 2026, the all-new Integra remains exclusive to the North American market; with the Acura brand having exited the Chinese market, the vehicle is not officially retailed there.

Positioned as a premium sport compact, the Integra centres on delivering engaging driving dynamics paired with the everyday versatility of a liftback body style. Since its comeback in 2022, the Integra has maintained a commanding lead in North America's premium sport compact segment, consistently holding a retail market share of around 40%. The 2026 model starts from approximately RM34,000. The high-performance Type S variant is expected to retail between RM45,000 and RM50,000.
The all-new Integra sports a sleek five-door fastback silhouette, where an elongated bonnet, sculpted character lines over the front wheel arches, and a sweeping roofline create distinctly athletic proportions. The designers steered clear of over-the-top aero kits, opting instead to craft a mature, understated sporty presence through clean surfacing and well-balanced proportions.
Serving as a mid-lifecycle facelift, the 2026 model refines key details while preserving its signature liftback profile. Three new exterior colours have been introduced: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Grey Pearl, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. The A-Spec variant gets a dedicated styling kit comprising a gloss black front spoiler, side skirt garnishes, and 18-inch black alloy wheels. Higher-spec variants can be optioned with a body-coloured front grille. Inside, the 2026 lineup introduces a new light-toned Orchid interior theme accented with blue suede inserts, while the Ebony interior variant gains contrasting yellow stitching across the steering wheel, gear lever, seats, and door trim.
The all-new Integra is offered with two powertrain options. The standard version is powered by a 1.5L VTEC turbocharged inline-four engine, developing a maximum output of 200-203 hp (149 kW) and peak torque of 260 Nm (192 lb-ft). Power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT or a 6-speed manual gearbox (exclusive to A-Spec models), with manual variants equipped with a helical limited-slip differential (LSD) .
The high-performance Integra Type S is driven by a 2.0L VTEC turbocharged engine, pushing out 320 hp and 420 Nm of torque. It is mated exclusively to a 6-speed manual gearbox equipped with a front-axle helical limited-slip differential. The Type S intentionally omits the sunroof to maximise torsional chassis rigidity.
The Integra Type S adopts a motorsport-derived Dual-Axis Strut Front Suspension, which effectively curbs torque steer under heavy acceleration. The A-Spec variant comes equipped with an Adaptive Damper System, which adjusts damping firmness in real time according to road conditions and the selected drive mode.
For drive modes, the entire range provides Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes as standard; the A-Spec trim adds an active sound profile and a customisable "Individual" mode. The Type S further benefits from reinforced structural bracing and heightened chassis rigidity.
The 2026 model gains notable tech upgrades across the cabin. A 9-inch floating central touchscreen (upgraded from the previous 7-inch display) is now standard across the board, powered by a faster processor. The infotainment setup supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside a standard Qi wireless smartphone charging pad. The A-Spec variant is equipped with a 10.2-inch full digital instrument cluster and an 8-speaker audio system. A 16-speaker ELS STUDIO 3D® premium sound system is available as an option.
On the comfort front, heated front seats come standard across the range, with the A-Spec adding 8-way power adjustment for the driver's seat. The rear bench features a 60:40 split-folding setup, offering flexible expansion of the boot space. Front and rear USB-C charging ports are fitted as standard.
The Integra comes standard with the AcuraWatch™ advanced driver assistance suite. This suite includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) , Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) , Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Information (BSI), and Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM). Passive safety is bolstered by a comprehensive multi-airbag setup and a high-tensile body shell.
Since its revival in 2022, the Integra has enjoyed strong commercial success in North America, clinching the prestigious 2023 North American Car of the Year award. In 2025, annual sales reached 20,178 units. Boosted by the arrival of the facelifted model, monthly sales jumped 42% month-on-month to 2,730 units in March 2026, before climbing further past 2,900 units in May—marking its strongest single-month delivery figure since April 2023.
Media reviews have highlighted that the Integra occupies a distinct niche in the premium compact sports sedan segment, standing out as one of the few models to retain a manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. While the 1.5T engine's outright output figures are not overly aggressive, power delivery is praised for being linear and responsive. Meanwhile, the Type S, with its potent 320 hp output and track-honed chassis setup, stands as the most powerful Integra ever produced in the brand's history.
