2026-05-25 09:40:02

AZNOM is a top automotive modification and design brand from Italy. The company's full name is AZNOM Automotive, founded in Monza, Italy in 2006.The brand name is exactly the mirror writing of "Monza", paying tribute to its birthplace with a strong racing culture. AZNOM focuses on creating ultra-luxury all-terrain luxury sedans and classic car electrified restoration (Restomod) services. It is not a mass-production car manufacturer in the traditional sense, but a creative laboratory relying on exquisite craftsmanship and the heritage of "Made in Italy" to provide bespoke services from scratch to customers. The brand advocates that "any customer's idea can become reality", and its limited top-tier models enjoy fame in the global automotive collection community.

Development History

AZNOM's founding can be traced back to 2006. Founder Marcello Meregalli comes from the long-standing Meregalli Group in Italy, but he did not stop at traditional business; instead, he turned his love for cars and luxury goods into a unique career. In the early days, AZNOM was not a purely automotive brand; its core business was providing luxury design, brand visual shaping, and high-end gift services to high-end clients through materials such as carbon fiber. With outstanding design capabilities, AZNOM quickly attracted a batch of senior partners, including supercar manufacturers Pagani and McLaren, which commissioned AZNOM for exclusive project designs. Additionally, AZNOM once provided custom design services for the royal families of some Sultanates.

In 2018, AZNOM released the luxury sedan Atulux, based on the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, with each unit priced at about $300,000. In 2020, AZNOM launched the follow-up model Palladium, further consolidating its status in the top custom car market. In 2022, AZNOM exhibited the Mini E-Classic at the Monaco Top Marques show, initiating its technical layout in the field of classic car electrified restoration. In 2025, AZNOM launched the Smart electric modification plan targeting the European youth market, demonstrating the expansion of its business scope into the lightweight electric vehicle field. At the beginning of 2026, AZNOM partnered with Camal Studio again to release the L'Epoque concept car, marking the brand's entry into the field of electric luxury concept cars.

Brand Matrix / Product Line

AZNOM's product line adopts an extremely rare "limited custom" model; the main product matrix can be summarized into three major series: the Atulux and Palladium "Super Luxury Sedan" series, the Classic Car Electrified Restoration (Restomod) series, and Custom Modification Services.

Palladium is the most well-known flagship finished model under AZNOM. The Palladium, released in 2020, is built on the Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck chassis, featuring an all-wheel-drive system and raised ground clearance. The body is about 5.96 meters long, 2.09 meters wide, and 1.97 meters high, with a wheelbase of 3.67 meters. The exterior is designed by Camal Studio in Turin, Italy, combining the rugged off-road structure of large pickups with luxury sedan lines reminiscent of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. The interior uses Foglizzo high-end leather, bleached oak, and other top materials, creating a palace-like luxury atmosphere, equipped with hidden wine cabinets and connected big sofas in the rear. Palladium is limited to only 10 units globally, with each car requiring 8 months of pure handmade craftsmanship. Customers can conduct deep customization according to their preferences, ensuring each car is unique. Its predecessor, the Atulux, was launched in 2018, also customized based on the Ram 1500, laying the foundation for the birth of the Palladium.

In the Electrified Restoration (Restomod) field, AZNOM launched the Mini E-Classic and Smart modification plans. The Mini E-Classic converts the classic Mini Mk5 to pure electric drive, equipped with a 14 kWh battery pack and a range of about 140 km, providing Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes. It completed its global premiere at the 2022 Monaco Top Marques show. The Smart modification plan, launched in 2025, is based on the first-generation Smart Fortwo, converting it into a lightweight electric vehicle that meets European L6e/L7e standards. With a maximum speed limit of 45 or 90 km/h, European teenagers aged 14 to 16 can drive it legally with the corresponding driver's license.

In addition, AZNOM's early business covered Fiat 500 modification services, launching three sub-series kits: Amabile, Intrigante, and Seducente, adopting two-tone appearances and Alcantara leather plus solid wood interiors. The brand also provides full-process "turnkey" custom services, where customers only need to provide creative ideas, and AZNOM is responsible for one-stop implementation from concept design and engineering testing to small-batch production.

Market Performance

As a "micro brand" with extremely low production volume, AZNOM's market performance is not reflected in global sales figures, but focuses highly on the top luxury collection field. Palladium is limited to 10 units, unit price estimated as high as 1.5 million US dollars. The founder publicly stated that even with only 10 Palladium units remaining undelivered globally, an Emirati merchant had already placed an order for the first unit.In the electrified restoration market, the Mini E-Classic launched by AZNOM is also not cheap, intended to meet the demand for vintage car electrification among celebrities and elites.

Core Technology

AZNOM's core technical capabilities are mainly reflected in three aspects. First, it is the high-end luxury reshaping of non-load-bearing body and pickup truck chassis. Palladium retains the non-load-bearing body structure of Ram 1500 with beams, providing off-road rigidity and load-bearing capacity for its "all-terrain luxury" positioning.Second, it is carbon fiber composite material design and processing. The use of carbon fiber runs through the two major sectors of AZNOM's automotive modification and luxury design.Third, it is classic car electrified modification technology. AZNOM verified the feasibility of old fuel cars migrating to electrification on the Mini E-Classic project, including battery management, motor matching and coordinated retention of original car interior, and plans to expand this technology to more classic models. In addition, Wheeliot onboard diagnostic monitoring system is also a technical feature of AZNOM in the field of vehicle electronics, which can read thousands of vehicle data items in real time through CAN-Bus network, providing status monitoring for customized vehicles. On the 2026 L'Epoque concept car, AZNOM also demonstrated the range-extended hybrid technology solution, equipped with V6 range extender and 100 kWh battery pack, driving four-wheel motors to achieve comprehensive output of more than 1000 horsepower.

Overseas Layout

AZNOM's brand headquarters is located in Monza, Italy. The company operates its global business by leveraging the geographical advantages of Italy's "supercar and design capital" status and surrounding deep traditional craftsman resources. In terms of business channels, AZNOM's strategy is extremely precise, mainly targeting niche groups that control a significant portion of global wealth. The founder stated in a public interview in 2020 that Palladium's target customers mainly come from the ranks of top millionaires in the United States, China, the Middle East, and Russia. The first order for the Aznom Palladaum going to an Emirati merchant also indirectly confirmed the brand's influence in the Middle East. AZNOM's luxury design and gift business line has previously served the royal families of multiple Sultanates, indicating a deep foundation for political and business cooperation in the region. However, AZNOM currently has no official sales outlets in mainland China.

Future Outlook

As of 2026, AZNOM's future strategy will deepen the two main lines of "diversified customization" and "new energy." On one hand, the brand will continue to complete the full assembly and delivery of the limited 10 units of the Palladium, maintaining its status as a top custom luxury car brand. On the other hand, against the background of electrification becoming a global mainstream trend, AZNOM will rely on its electrification integration experience accumulated in the Mini E-Classic and Smart modification projects to expand into the electrified restoration field for more classic models.

The L'Epoque concept car, released in January 2026, although positioned as a "pure display concept," features a V6 range extender plus four-wheel motor technology solution (with comprehensive output exceeding 1,000 horsepower), pointing out the direction for the brand's subsequent possible mass-produced ultra-luxury electric sedans. To showcase its customization capabilities to global customers and attract top client groups, AZNOM continues to participate in global top luxury and modification car shows such as the Monaco Top Marques. In the future, AZNOM will also maintain its high scarcity strategy, adhering to handmade craftsmanship and artisan traditions to ensure its products maintain irreplaceable collection value in the homogeneous contemporary luxury car market.
