AUXUN is a Chinese high-end luxury business car customization and modification brand, affiliated with Jiangsu Chechi Automobile Co., Ltd. Jiangsu Chechi is a state-controlled enterprise that holds special vehicle production qualifications from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Headquartered in the Dagang New District of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, the company specializes in high-end modification and personalized customization of luxury business cars, RVs, and passenger cars. It is an authorized modification plant for Fujian Mercedes-Benz and was the first enterprise in China to receive the "VanPartner by Mercedes-Benz" authorization as a global partner for Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles.

The brand originated from the Zhenjiang Automobile Factory established in 1975. Initially, it engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of special vehicles and military vehicles, and once became the designated supplier of special vehicles for the 11th Asian Games in Beijing and the Beijing Olympic Games. The brand was jointly developed by the Italian LDA Design Team and ICONA Company, adopting a processing with supplied materials production model, adhering to the use of original factory models to serve the Chinese market, and is a benchmark enterprise in the field of Chinese business car modification. Development History

Foundation (1975—2002): The brand history of AUXUN traces back to the Zhenjiang Automobile Factory established in 1975. Initially, it mainly focused on R&D of special vehicles and manufacturing of military vehicles, being one of the earliest manufacturers in China to engage in special modification cars. In 1986, the military vehicle workshop was established, becoming a leading domestic military vehicle manufacturer. In 1994, it was restructured into Zhenjiang Feichi Auto Group, marking the company's transformation from military special equipment to the civilian business car field

Mercedes-Benz Cooperation (2002—2020): In 2002, the AUXUN founding team came into contact with Mercedes-Benz business cars, subsequently introducing Mercedes-Benz business cars to China for custom modification. In 2010, the project to modify Mercedes-Benz high-end business cars and RVs was officially initiated; In 2011, the Chechi Auto SpeedAuto was formally established. In 2016, the fully mold-based "Pininfarina" model development was completed. After more than a decade of deep cultivation, it became the only enterprise in China to be authorized by the global Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicle official partner VanPartner by Mercedes-Benz, starting an independent brand path.

Brand Establishment and Rapid Development (2019 - Present): In 2019, AUXUN was officially established as an independent high-end business car brand. In 2021, the AUXUN Zongheng Sihai model was launched; In 2023, the Zongheng Sihai - White Sand Coral model was released, offering 6 intelligent scenario modes. In 2025, new models such as the Zongheng Sihai 50th Anniversary Limited Edition were launched. At the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, AUXUN released its global strategy, officially announcing the four major strategic layouts of "Global Technology, Global Supply Chain, Global Market, and Global Ecosystem", promoting Chinese luxury custom cars from product exports to technology exports, standard exports, and brand exports.

AUXUN models are deeply customized and modified based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class chassis, having formed a complete product lineup covering the price range of 600,000 to 1.6 million RMB. Among these, the Zongheng Sihai 50th Anniversary Limited Edition is the brand's latest flagship product.

Mainstream series include the Zongheng Sihai (including the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition and others), the Great White Shark (including the Great White Shark Pro, Great White Shark Max, and Great White Shark Ultra), the Lanchi Great White Shark Series (including the Lanchi Great White Shark Pro and others), the Open Edition, and the Zongheng Tianxia. All models are equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed automatic manual transmission. The 2023 Great White Shark Collector's Edition has a guide price of 1.58 million RMB, and the Great White Shark Collector's Edition is also priced at 1.58 million RMB. The Zongheng Sihai 50th Anniversary Limited Edition has a guide price of 1.288 million RMB. Market Performance

The 2025 Zongheng Sihai 50th Anniversary Limited Edition attracted much attention after its market launch, with brand orders and capacity growing at a high speed. In March 2025, Jiangsu Chechi (AUXUN's parent company) orders were booked until May: "This batch of cars includes models such as 'Zongheng Sihai' and 'AUXUN Great White Shark', with a monthly production capacity of around 50 units, to be delivered at the end of the month". Key regional markets such as East China and Chongqing continue to be the main growth drivers. The brand was rated as "one of the hottest and best-selling high-roof V-Class business cars" at the Chengdu International Auto Show. In 2026, the brand also continued to launch new models such as Great White Shark Max, Great White Shark Ultra, etc., and held special sales events to deepen regional markets, flexibly coping with market competition.
