AISHANG is the pure electric passenger car brand officially launched by Liuzhou Wuling New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Wuling New Energy") under Guangxi Automobile Group in October 2025. As a key part of Guangxi Automobile Group's implementation of its "Commercial and Passenger Integration" strategy, the AISHANG brand carries the mission of the group's transformation from traditional commercial vehicle manufacturing to high-end and intelligent new energy passenger vehicles. The brand is positioned as "High Intelligence Price Ratio City Premium Commuting Tools," aiming to provide reliable and design-oriented small electric vehicle solutions for young families and urban commuters by integrating Wuling's deep car-making heritage with modern intelligent driving technology.

History

The birth of the AISHANG brand is a crucial part of Guangxi Automobile Group's "Lingshi Project" three-year strategy (2025-2027).

Incubation Period (2021-2024): In June 2021, Guangxi Automobile Group established Wuling New Energy as a business entity to restructure its new energy vehicle resources, beginning secret research and development of a new passenger car platform.

Strategy Established (2024): The group released the "Lingshi Project," planning to invest 15 billion RMB to implement the "131" plan, which clarified the task of building a brand-new new energy passenger car brand.

Brand Launch (October 21, 2025): The AISHANG brand was officially launched in Zhengzhou. During the launch, brand CEO Liu Jinhua clarified the difference between AISHANG and "SAIC-GM-Wuling," emphasizing its pure lineage as an autonomous brand controlled by Guangxi Automobile Group.

First Product Launch: Alongside the brand launch, the first pure electric A00-class sedan, the AISHANG A100C, was officially launched, marking AISHANG's formal entry into the stock competition stage of the new energy passenger car market.

Product Portfolio

The AISHANG brand relies on the A, B, and C three major technology platforms and plans a full-range product line covering micro cars, small cars, SUVs, and MPVs:

AISHANG A100C: The brand's groundbreaking model, positioned as an "all-around intelligent micro car." It adopts a 3-door, 4-seat layout, with a body length of approximately 3.28 meters and a wheelbase of 1.98 meters. The car offers seven body colors, with an interior style focusing on a combination of freshness and technology, and a price range of 39,800 - 52,800 RMB.

Future Plans: According to the brand's plan of "five new cars in three years," AISHANG is expected to launch a medium-sized pure electric SUV based on the B platform and a smart crossover model designed for multi-person families by the end of 2026.

Market Performance

Since entering the market at the end of 2025, the AISHANG brand has demonstrated extremely strong penetration in the lower-tier market. Relying on the good reputation accumulated by "Wuling New Energy" in the logistics vehicle sector, the AISHANG A100C quickly opened up the situation in traditional small car advantage provinces such as Shandong and Henan. As of the first quarter of 2026, AISHANG automobile monthly sales have stabilized at over 5,000 units. Its core market competitiveness stems from the "high specification, low price" strategy—providing fast charging, smart car systems, and 165° adjustable seats, configurations rarely seen before, within the 50,000 RMB price range. In terms of channels, AISHANG utilizes its parent company's extensive commercial vehicle outlets nationwide to deepen channel distribution, while simultaneously establishing "AISHANG Living Space" exhibition centers in core cities, achieving rapid diffusion of brand influence.

Technology and Innovation

The core competitiveness of AISHANG automobiles lies in its highly integrated industrial chain control capabilities and the application of intelligent modules: 

Lingqiao Architecture:  A modular platform designed specifically for micro and small cars, supporting flexible layouts of rear-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, reducing overall vehicle energy consumption by approximately 10%. 

Fast Charging Refueling System:  Pioneering the popularization of fast charging technology on A00-class models, the A100C can charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes, solving the market pain point of "slow refueling" for micro electric vehicles.

Intelligent Connectivity Interaction System:  Equipped with a 10.25-inch central control screen (mid-high trim), integrating HiCar intelligent connectivity, remote air conditioning control, and mobile App vehicle positioning functions, possessing significant commuting intelligence advantages among models of the same level.

Digital Intelligent Manufacturing:  Relying on the Liuzhou and Xuchang intelligent manufacturing bases, the production line automation rate reaches 90%, ensuring quality tracing and stability of vehicles throughout their lifecycle through more than 200 quality control points.

Global Presence

The AISHANG brand has balanced a global vision from its inception. In early 2026, Wuling New Energy announced that the AISHANG brand would serve as the main force for the group's exported passenger cars, entering Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia. The brand plans to establish KD (Knock Down) factories with local partners in 2027 to further enhance competitiveness by utilizing local tariff preference policies. In addition, targeting urban commuting needs in the European market, AISHANG is developing lightweight electric vehicle models compliant with L7e standards, aiming to expand the European micro car market.

Future Outlook

The goal of the AISHANG brand is to become a "global benchmark for micro electric vehicle value". In the next three years, the brand will continue to deepen the passenger car segment within the "Commercial and Passenger Integration" strategy, committed to downgrading high-level intelligent driving and active safety technologies to entry-level models. With the delivery of more platform models in the second half of 2026, AISHANG not only needs to consolidate its position in the A00 market, but also through quality and service upgrades, to thoroughly break users' inherent perception that "micro cars are low-quality cars", truly making green intelligent travel "accessible to all".
