BYD driver-assistance fleet tops 3.52 million as July sales hit 419,211

BYD says more than 3.52 million vehicles worldwide are now equipped with its driver-assistance systems, giving the technology a sizeable global user base.

The automaker added 187,670 driver-assistance-equipped vehicles to the road in July alone. Its God's Eye system logged more than 220 million km of driving data per day during the month.

In July 2026, BYD delivered 419,211 vehicles globally, including 411,072 passenger vehicles. Overseas sales of passenger cars and pickups accounted for 179,841 units, making up a sizeable share of the month's deliveries.

Since entering the new energy vehicle market, BYD has sold more than 17.3 million NEVs worldwide. For the first seven months of 2026, total sales stood at more than 2.22 million vehicles, while overseas passenger vehicle and pickup sales reached 969,208 units.
