Maextro V680 and V800 luxury MPVs launched in China's Mainland with Huawei technology, from RMB 648,000

Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) has officially unveiled its flagship MPV models, the Maextro  V680 and V800, at its "Maextro Era Flagship MPV & Huawei All-Scenario New Product Launch" event.

The Maextro V680 Premium Edition is priced at RMB 648,000. The Maextro V800 is offered in three variants, with prices ranging from RMB 766,000 to RMB 1.016 million.

Deliveries of the Maextro V800 Pioneer Edition will begin in early September, with the remaining V800 variants and the V680 scheduled to reach customers from late September.

The Maextro V800 and V680 are available in a selection of exterior colours, including two single-tone options (Starry Black and Rui Jin Red) as well as five dual-tone finishes: Solar Gold over Deep Bronze, Glacier White over Ink Black, Dawn Gold over Metallic Black, Winter Silver over Crimson Red, and Cloud White over Sky Celadon.

The Maextro V800 measures 5,495 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,850 mm tall, with a 3,430 mm wheelbase. The V680 is slightly smaller at 5,320 mm in length, while sharing the same width and height, with a 3,290 mm wheelbase.

The rear end features a full-colour intelligent interactive taillight system made up of 5,032 individually controlled LED units.

The lighting system supports a variety of personalised functions, including dedicated welcome animations such as "Yi Lu Chang Hong" and "Fu Yao Zhi Shang", as well as interactive effects like emoji displays and a do-not-disturb mode.

The system can also display themed lighting sequences for occasions such as child-friendly messages, birthday greetings and festive wishes.

Inside, the Maextro V800 comes with a 41.6-inch projection screen for the second row, along with an electric front privacy curtain and privacy glass on the second and third-row side windows.

Other highlight features include a private beverage bar, an electric shoe box and a retractable starry sky roof that can be controlled by gestures and customised with different display settings. The Maextro V680, meanwhile, comes with a 21.4-inch roof-mounted screen for the second row.

Practicality is another highlight. A standard boot capacity of 758 litres can accommodate five golf bags laid flat. The third-row seats can be folded down to expand the cargo area to 2,718 litres, providing ample space for both family trips and business use.

The Maextro V800 is built on the latest Tuling Longxing platform and features an 800V active suspension system. Its extended-range setup combines a 1.5-litre range extender engine with dual electric motors, alongside Huawei's new Giant Whale battery pack with support for 6C fast charging.
