IM Motors recently announced its latest sales figures. The brand's new model, the IM LS8, has delivered outstanding results, with over 6,000 units delivered in just 6 weeks since its launch. The new car offers time-limited promotional benefits, with a starting price of 249,800 yuan in mainland China, offering excellent value for money.

The IM LS8 continues the design language of the family's flagship model, the LS9. Its overall lines are clean and sharp, full of modern technological flair. The front features the mainstream closed design of electric vehicles, complemented by sleek daytime running lights and sharp main headlight clusters that ensure high visibility when illuminated. Auxiliary light groups are integrated into the lower bumper, balancing practical functionality with aesthetic design.

In terms of body dimensions, the new car measures 5085mm in length, 2000mm in width, and 1807mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3060mm, providing spacious interior room. The rear features a full-width taillight that visually widens the vehicle; when illuminated, it exudes a strong technological feel. Additionally, owners can opt for towing hooks and electrical connectors, further enhancing practicality.

Intelligent hardware is a major highlight of the new car. Standard equipment includes a 520-line super-field-of-view LiDAR sensor with an effective sensing range of up to 300 meters, while all variants are powered by NVIDIA's Thor superchip. This powerful environmental sensing capability combined with top-tier computing power enables the vehicle to downgrade L3-level perception technology to L2-level assisted driving scenarios, significantly upgrading the driving assistance experience.

The interior cabin maintains the luxurious and technological style of the LS9 family, featuring an opulent screen setup. The center console is equipped with a 27.1-inch 5K ultra HD cockpit display, while the front passenger has a dedicated 15.6-inch 3K entertainment screen, creating an immersive smart cockpit atmosphere.

The rear experience is equally excellent. The second row features a 21.5-inch true 4K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen supporting system-level IMLink connected vehicle control. The second-row seats support electric adjustment of the backrest angle and come equipped with foldable tables and extendable leg rests, offering comfort comparable to luxury business vehicles.

Even if the front-wheel steering system fails, the rear wheels can maintain steering capability, ensuring robust driving safety. Additionally, the new car is equipped with dual-direction 24-degree intelligent four-wheel steering, MK C2 brake-by-wire system, electric damping shock absorbers, and closed air suspension, delivering stable and comfortable ride quality.

Regarding powertrain, the new car is equipped with the IM Star Super Range Extender system, comprising a 1.5T engine and electric motor. It delivers a combined maximum power of 390 kilowatts and a combined torque of 670 N·m. Available in 52 kWh and 66 kWh battery versions, the pure electric ranges are 355 km and 430 km respectively. With a full tank and full battery, the maximum combined range reaches 1,605 kilometers, eliminating range anxiety entirely.

All variants of the new car feature a standard 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, enabling extremely fast charging: charging from 30% to 80% takes only 12 minutes. In terms of performance, zero-to-hundred acceleration is achieved in the 4-second range with powerful dynamics. Energy consumption is also fuel-efficient, with a combined fuel-electricity consumption of only 2.54 liters per 100 kilometers, balancing performance with economy.
