On May 20, XPeng Motors officially launched its all-new mid-to-large SUV, the XPeng GX. Within just 12 hours after its debut, the vehicle secured 24,863 firm pre-orders. Eight variants are available, with official guide prices ranging from 279,800 to 359,800 RMB, and preferential benefits prices set at 269,800 to 349,800 RMB. The brand also revealed that XPeng Robotaxi will kick off mass capability tests in the second half of 2026.

In terms of exterior design, the XPeng GX adopts the brand’s latest family design language, boasting a sleek yet imposing stance. It features the signature full-width light strip at the front fascia paired with a striking front bumper and sporty air intakes. The side profile showcases smooth streamlined lines and a popular floating roof design, complemented by multi-spoke alloy wheels and pop-out door handles for a stylish finish. The rear end echoes the front styling with a highly recognizable full-width taillight cluster. Measuring 5,265mm in length, 1,999mm in width and 1,800mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,115mm, the SUV delivers exceptionally spacious interior room.


The interior is crafted under the Cosmic Quantum design concept, bringing a first-class aircraft cabin riding experience. It is fitted with a cosmic pilot steer-by-wire steering wheel together with seats featuring intelligent welcome functions, supporting 135mm electric adjustment and adopting planetary-style physical buttons. A 17.3-inch 3K ultra-narrow-bezel central control screen is mounted on the dashboard for smooth operation.

The front central console adopts a suspended pilot island layout integrating aesthetics and practicality, equipped with an intelligent retractable wireless charging panel and hidden pop-up cup holders to maximize storage space. The door panels feature star-sky horizon styling upholstered in premium velvet translucent leather, matched with starlight ambient strips to elevate interior luxury. For in-car entertainment, it is equipped with Lingjing AI Max audio system consisting of 33 speakers for immersive sound experience. The second-row seats are independent zero-gravity leather perforated seats with multifunctional control buttons and leg rests, ensuring supreme comfort.
Power options include extended-range and pure electric versions to cater to diverse user demands. The extended-range variant is powered by a 1.5T engine plus dual electric motors. The engine outputs 150 horsepower, while the front and rear dual motors generate 160kW and 210kW respectively. Paired with a 63.3kWh battery pack, it achieves a CLTC pure electric range of 430km and a comprehensive CLTC range of 1,585km.

The all-electric lineup covers single-motor and dual-motor editions. The dual-motor version delivers 160kW front motor power and 270kW rear motor power, fitted with a 110kWh battery pack for a 750km CLTC pure electric range. The single-motor two-wheel-drive model outputs 270kW and adopts a 91.9kWh battery pack, offering a 665km CLTC pure electric cruising range.
