On May 18, Denza officially launched the N9 Flash Charge, offering three variants priced from RMB 409,800 to 469,800. The vehicle comes standard with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery, Flash Charge technology, e³ platform, Yunian-A dual-chamber air suspension, God's Eye 5.0 ADAS, and the next-generation AI smart cockpit, delivering five flagship upgrades across charging, handling, safety, intelligence, and luxury.

The 75.3 kWh second-generation Blade Battery delivers a 420 km CLTC pure-electric range, the longest of any plug-in hybrid SUV above RMB 400,000, and a combined range of 1,520 km. Flash charging replenishes from 10% to 70% SOC in just five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes under normal conditions, with only an additional three minutes required in -30°C environments. Over 6,000 Flash Charging stations are already operational nationwide, with a target of 20,000 by the end of 2026.

The e³ technology platform, standard across the lineup, enables a 4.65-metre turning radius despite the vehicle's 5,258 mm length and 3,125 mm wheelbase. Smart crab walk (15°) and pivot turn functions make urban manoeuvring effortless. The 2.0T engine and three-motor setup deliver near-1,000 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, with a braking distance of 36.4 metres from 100 km/h—both class-leading figures. Yunian-A dual-chamber air suspension, combined with road preview 2.0, ensures a smooth, comfortable ride.

The N9 Flash Charge achieved the highest-ever safety rating in the C-IASI 2025 assessment, earning top marks across all five indices. Body construction features 90.5 per cent high-strength steel and aluminium, a torsional rigidity of nearly 40,000 N·m, and nine airbags. The 4E active safety system supports emergency braking for two-wheelers at 130 km/h and maintains stability during tyre blowouts at up to 180 km/h.

God's Eye 5.0 ADAS, powered by an end-to-end large model with reinforcement learning, is standard. As of May 2026, over 2.99 million vehicles equipped with this system have generated more than 190 million km of driving data daily. The AI smart cockpit includes 17.3-inch, 13.2-inch, and 13.2-inch screens, a 50-inch AR-HUD, and a 26-speaker Devialet audio system, supporting 10 Chinese dialects and six-zone voice interaction.

Denza offers limited-time purchase benefits worth up to RMB 110,000, including RMB 70,000 in option credits, financial subsidies, trade-in incentives (RMB 20,000 for Denza owners, RMB 10,000 for BYD/Mercedes-Benz owners, RMB 6,000 for others), and one year of free Flash Charging.

For Hong Kong buyers, if a right-hand-drive version is homologated under the "One-for-One Replacement" EV tax scheme, the N9 Flash Charge would land at approximately HK$450,000–550,000, directly competing with the Li Auto L9, AITO M9, and BMW X5. No RHD development timeline or local distributor plans have been announced yet.
