On May 17, GAC Hyper officially launched pre-sales for its new mid-to-large coupe SUV, the Hyper S600, positioning it as a "New Luxury Smart Sport SUV" and targeting the highly competitive 200,000 RMB segment. The lineup includes four variants: EV 660 Max, EV 660 Max+, EREV 230 Max, and EREV 215 AWD Ultra+. Official pre-sale prices range from 209,900 RMB to 229,900 RMB, with limited-time promotional prices dropping to 188,900–208,900 RMB. Customers who place orders before the official launch date can access nine exclusive benefits worth up to 81,188 RMB, including a deposit discount, trade-in subsidies, GAC owner bonus, and the Momenta Premium ADAS package free of charge.

The Hyper S600 is available in both pure-electric and extended-range powertrains, both powered by the industry's only 12-in-1 high-performance silicon carbide electric drive system. The EV version is built on an 800V platform, delivering 660 km CLTC range and adding 415 km in just 15 minutes. The EREV AWD version produces 370 kW of combined power, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, making it the fastest EREV SUV available under 1,000,000 RMB. GAC’s Xingyuan extended-range technology delivers 85 kW of continuous generation, achieving "no power loss in depleted state" with 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds even when depleted. WLTP depleted fuel consumption is just 5.9 litres per 100 km, with total range reaching 1,260 km.

The Hyper S600 features the only dual-motor AWD and dual-chamber air suspension combination in the 200,000 RMB segment. The smart suspension system adjusts firmness based on road conditions — single-chamber mode for cornering stability on mountain roads, dual-chamber comfort mode for daily commuting. The chassis is further supported by front double-wishbone, rear five-link independent suspension and Eagle Claw System 2.0, while braking distance from 100 km/h stands at just 34.2 metres.

The Hyper S600 comes standard with a LiDAR sensor and 27 high-precision perception units, powered by a Qualcomm SA8650 autonomous driving chip (200 TOPS). The ADiGO GSD 3.0 system, integrated with Momenta’s R6 reinforcement learning model, supports urban and highway NOA as well as full-scenario smart parking across over 300 space types. If the driver fails to respond to alerts within 10 seconds, the vehicle autonomously performs a safe lane change and pullover. The system will receive an OTA upgrade to Momenta’s R7 world model in the second half of 2026.

Inside, a Qualcomm 8295P chip powers a 17.3-inch 3K central display and a 27-inch W-HUD, with a 22-speaker ADiGO SOUND system, four frameless electric suction doors, and five-layer double-glazed acoustic glass all standard. The cabin achieves 90 per cent space efficiency, with second-row legroom of 750 mm. Comfort features include an 18-point massage zero-gravity front passenger seat, 143-degree rear seat recline, and a 6.5-litre centre-console refrigerator.

For Hong Kong buyers, if the Hyper S600 is homologated under the “One-for-One Replacement” EV scheme, its effective starting price would be approximately HK$210,000–230,000, positioning it against the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 07, and XPeng G6. However, GAC Hyper Hong Kong has not yet announced any right-hand-drive development timeline or import plans.
