On May 8, GAC Toyota officially launched the 2026 model year Bozhi 3X, a pure-electric compact SUV. The updated lineup includes three range variants across seven trims, with limited-time promotional pricing ranging from 94,800 RMB to 144,800 RMB. The company stated that the new model delivers “more equipment at the same price,” with mainstream versions gaining approximately 8,000 RMB in added value. This marks the first annual facelift since the Bozhi 3X surpassed 100,000 units in cumulative sales over 14 months on the market.

Pricing Strategy: MSRP Unchanged, Promotional Price Lowers Entry Barrier
The 2026 Bozhi 3X retains the same official MSRP range of 109,800 RMB to 159,800 RMB as its predecessor. However, the limited-time launch discount lowers the effective starting price to 94,800 RMB, with the top trim available at 144,800 RMB. GAC Toyota is also offering an 80,000 RMB zero-interest financing plan over five years, along with complimentary Yamaha premium audio equipment for select customers.
Major Intelligent Upgrades: One-Button Smart Parking and Sentry Mode

The core focus of the 2026 update is a significant enhancement in intelligent features. The new Bozhi 3X introduces one-button smart parking and a sentry mode. The entire lineup is equipped with 20 high-precision sensors enabling 360-degree perception, plus a next-generation forward 4D millimeter-wave radar and an 800-megapixel front camera for improved image quality. The 430 Air+ trim adds a drive-park integrated architecture, delivering advanced smart parking functions, sentry mode, driving recorder, and 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge. The sentry mode continuously monitors for abnormal activity after the vehicle is parked, automatically recording and alerting the owner in case of scratches, collisions, or suspicious proximity.
Excluding the base entry trim, all other 2026 Bozhi 3X variants come standard with a factory driving recorder and sentry mode. Higher-end LiDAR variants feature Hesai’s next-generation ATX LiDAR with a detection range of 200 meters, capable of identifying irregular low obstacles such as cones and small cardboard boxes. The ADAS algorithm has been upgraded to Momenta’s R6 reinforcement learning model, trained on over ten billion real-world driving scenarios, enabling full-scenario assisted driving.
Four Major Tech Brands: Industry First for a 100,000 RMB-Class EV

One of the most notable breakthroughs for the 2026 Bozhi 3X is becoming the first production vehicle in the 100,000 RMB class to integrate Hesai, Momenta, Qualcomm, and iFlytek. Hesai has delivered more than 2.4 million LiDAR units, while Momenta’s solution has been validated across over 700,000 production vehicles. Toyota, a shareholder in Momenta, has embedded more than ten internal safety standards into the algorithm. The smart cockpit comes standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 flagship chip (7nm process), paired with iFlytek’s AI large language model and four-zone voice recognition.
Powertrain and Range: Three Battery Options, Up to 610 km Range

The 2026 Bozhi 3X retains a front-mounted single-motor front-wheel-drive configuration. The 610 km range version features a 165 kW (224 hp) electric motor producing 210 N·m of peak torque, paired with a 67.92 kWh LFP battery. The 430 km and 520 km range variants come with a 150 kW (204 hp) motor and 200 N·m of torque, paired with 50.03 kWh and 58.37 kWh LFP battery packs respectively. All trims now come standard with 6 kW V2L discharge capability. The vehicle’s dimensions remain unchanged, measuring 4,600 mm in length, 1,850 mm (or 1,875 mm) in width, and 1,645 mm (or 1,660 mm) in height, with a 2,765 mm wheelbase.
Factory “Triple Guarantee” Policy Expanded

The “Triple Guarantee” policy now extends to non-LiDAR versions. Coverage includes: the automaker compensates with a new vehicle in case of self-ignition; free replacement of batteries that exceed standard degradation thresholds; and the automaker covers repairs and third-party losses if an accident is caused by smart parking. Such quantified assurances are rare in the 100,000 RMB EV segment, reducing consumer anxiety about new feature reliability.
Market Position: Seven Consecutive Months as Best-Selling Premium EV
Since its launch in March 2025, the Bozhi 3X sold 10,027 units in April 2026, making it one of the few premium-brand EVs to exceed 10,000 monthly sales. Before the facelift, it had already ranked as the best-selling premium-brand single EV model for seven consecutive months and placed among the top three in overall compact BEV sales. For the Hong Kong market, if GAC Toyota introduces the Bozhi 3X via official channels, its approximate 100,000 RMB starting price and over 600 km CLTC range would pose significant competition to similarly priced imported electric SUVs. However, GAC Toyota has not yet announced a Hong Kong sales timeline or distribution plan.
