Wuling Starlight 730 Zunxiang Edition Launches with Smart Driving System

Wuling has officially launched the Starlight 730 Zunxiang Edition, a new variant built on the Intelligent Island Manufacturing System (I²MS). With a comprehensive subsidy price starting at RMB 87,800, the model introduces upgraded features and debuts the Lingmou intelligent driver assistance system. A “RMB 1,000 deposit for six launch gifts” promotion is also offered.

Exterior Design

The Starlight 730 retains the family design language with a dynamic and smooth silhouette. A closed front grille, full-width LED daytime running lights and split matrix headlamps enhance the sporty appearance. The side profile features sharp body lines, hidden door handles and low‑drag wheels, while the rear full-width LED light bar with parametric detailing ensures high visibility at night. The wheelbase exceeds 2.7 metres.

Interior and Features

A minimalist tech style dominates the cabin with a floating centre touchscreen and full digital instrument cluster supporting voice control, online navigation and OTA updates. Front seats are heated and electrically adjustable, with wireless charging, automatic climate control and a PM2.5 filtration system.

The highlight is the Lingmou intelligent driver assistance system, featuring multiple mmWave radars, ultrasonic sensors and HD cameras. It supports full‑speed adaptive cruise, lane centring, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning and blind‑spot monitoring, plus 360‑degree panoramic view and reversing radar.

Powertrain

The BEV version uses a front motor delivering approximately 100 kW and 200 N·m, with a CLTC range of 400‑500 km. The PHEV version combines a 1.5L engine with an electric motor, offering around 70 km electric range and over 1,100 km total range, with low fuel consumption. Both support DC fast charging and V2L discharge.
