The 2026 Haval H9 will officially launch on April 28. With the core positioning of “an off‑road vehicle for the whole family,” the facelifted model has been comprehensively upgraded in three key areas: smart features, premium comfort, and off‑road capability.

The 2026 Haval H9 retains its iconic boxy silhouette but adopts a full black styling package as standard across the range. The front grille, headlight and taillight trims, and front/rear bumper lower guards are all finished in black, giving the vehicle a more unified and aggressive “black warrior” persona.
The lighting system has also been significantly enhanced. Within a 40‑metre range, low‑beam illumination intensity increases by over 50%; at 100 metres it is approximately 52% brighter. The farthest low‑beam distance is extended by 45%, while high‑beam distance increases by 27%.
Inside, a 15.6‑inch 2.5K high‑definition central display is paired with the latest Coffee OS 3 intelligent system, supporting seamless phone connectivity, AI voice assistant, voice control across four zones, and more.A new “Lava Red” interior option joins the palette. Soft‑wrapped door trims, multi‑colour ambient lighting, a thicker steering wheel and an electric tailgate enhance both perceived quality and daily practicality.
Ground clearance has been increased by 20mm to 226mm. Approach angle reaches 32 degrees, departure angle 26 degrees, break‑over angle 24 degrees, and maximum wading depth is 800mm. Dimensions remain essentially unchanged at 5,070mm in length and 2,850mm in wheelbase.
Off‑road equipment includes crawl control, tank turn and a 540° panoramic view system. Towing capacity is rated at 2.5 tonnes. The suspension retains the classic front double‑wishbone independent and rear solid‑axle non‑independent layout. The standard TOD intelligent 4WD system features Mlock mechanical locking and front/rear differential locks. The drive‑mode selector now adds Rock Mode and Expert Mode.

The familiar and proven powertrain choices continue: a 2.0‑litre turbo petrol engine paired with an 8‑speed automatic transmission, and a 2.4‑litre turbo diesel unit mated to a 9‑speed automatic.
Official pricing will be announced on April 28. The current 2025 Haval H9 is priced between approximately RMB 199,900 and 229,900. The 2026 model is expected to maintain similar pricing while offering significantly upgraded equipment, delivering enhanced value through “more for the same price.”
