At Auto Beijing 2026, Voyah announced a major acceleration of its pure‑electric strategy and unveiled the “Three Actions” global expansion plan, comprising “deepening European presence, entering the Middle East, and breaking into right‑hand‑drive markets”. The brand also launched its ESG initiative “Better VOYAH”. With the “Five‑Seat New King” Voyah Taishan X8 as its centrepiece, Voyah showcased its full premium smart NEV lineup of SUVs, MPVs and sedans, reinforcing its position as the “No.1 Central‑SOE Premium NEV Brand”.

In the first quarter of 2026, Voyah continued its high‑quality growth momentum, delivering 33,892 vehicles — a 30% year‑on‑year increase — outperforming the broader market where growth slowed. Chairman Lu Fang attributed this success to three pillars: strong product strength, a full‑value‑chain system and an effective marketing team. The Voyah Dream MPV has solidified its position in the premium NEV MPV segment, and the newly launched Voyah Taishan X8 recorded over 20,000 orders within just 20 hours of pre‑sale, with the Ultra and Ultra+ trims making up the overwhelming majority of orders.

As the star of Voyah‘s booth, the Voyah Taishan X8 broke ground in the large five‑seat SUV segment with its exceptional features. Targeting high‑quality family users, it offers the largest cabin space in China’s five‑seat SUV market at 6.1 m², and is the country‘s only five‑seat SUV featuring second‑row dual zero‑gravity seats. It also debuts the industry‘s first fully automatic one‑touch bed mode and advanced massage seats. Powered by HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.2 and dual 15.6‑inch screens, the X8 is equipped with the industry‑leading 896‑line dual‑path image‑grade LiDAR combined with Huawei’s Qiankun four‑LiDAR ADAS solution.

Shao Mingfeng, Voyah‘s CBO and Sales General Manager, was confident in an interview: “We’re not afraid that buyers will wait — we’re afraid they‘ll get a car that lacks lasting value. Some competitors are one‑trick ponies, but we are an all‑rounder — you can’t go wrong with us.” He also encouraged industry experimentation but stressed that innovation must be rooted in real user scenarios, not just spec‑stacking — citing the practical clothes‑hanging rod in the Taishan X8 as a simple yet effective example of meeting genuine everyday needs.

While strengthening its existing product portfolio, Voyah is resolutely advancing its pure‑electric transition. Shao Mingfeng confirmed that Voyah has already deployed core technologies including 800V high‑voltage fast charging, quad‑LiDAR systems and rear‑wheel steering, directly addressing key user concerns. Currently, BEVs account for 35% of its sales mix, and Voyah will continue to pursue a multi‑path strategy combining BEVs, hybrids and EREVs, aiming for BEVs to exceed 50% of its total sales by 2027. Furthermore, Voyah has completed hardware preparation for Level 3 conditional autonomous driving, with over 200,000 km of real‑world road testing already completed.
Globalisation was a key strategic theme at Voyah‘s press conference. The brand has already entered 40 overseas countries and regions, establishing more than 240 sales outlets. Lu Fang unveiled the “Three Actions” plan: “Deepen European presence, enter the Middle East, and break into right‑hand‑drive markets”. In the second half of 2026, the Voyah Dream MPV will be the first model offered in a right‑hand‑drive version, marking a major push into RHD premium markets. Lu stressed that Voyah remains committed to a high‑value strategy, avoiding low‑value price wars and aiming to bring Chinese premium NEV brands, products and culture to the global stage.
Voyah has full control over the entire “R&D‑production‑supply‑sales‑service” value chain, holding over 6,102 industry‑leading patents. It operates two national‑level demonstration plants with an annual capacity of 450,000 units, and its sales network covers 169 cities with 508 outlets and 1.63 million partner charging stations. Thanks to this strong position, Voyah was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 19 March, becoming the “first central‑SOE premium NEV stock”. Within its first month of listing, it received two rounds of major shareholder share purchases, further underscoring market recognition of its business certainty. Lu Fang said: “Voyah is truly unique in the industry — one of the very few with full control over the entire value chain. Choosing Voyah means choosing the certainty of quality.”
With the Voyah Taishan X8 set for market launch in May, and new strategic models such as “Voyah FE” and “Voyah Pearl” soon to follow, Voyah is building on Dongfeng’s 57 years of manufacturing experience and Huawei‘s cutting‑edge smart technologies, with full value‑chain control and an active global expansion strategy, delivering a highly certain path of high‑quality growth for China’s central‑SOE premium NEV brand.
