Zhijie Auto has announced that its all-new flagship SUV, the Zhijie V9, has received over 22,500 pre-orders within just 72 hours of launch. Priced from RMB 399,800 to 529,800, more than half of customers opted for the top-tier Ultra variant.

Record-Breaking Start in the Premium Large SUV Segment

Achieving 22,500 orders in three days is a phenomenal performance for a vehicle priced above RMB 400,000. Notably, over 50% of buyers chose the Ultra version, indicating strong demand for advanced smart driving and luxury features.

Pricing Strategy: Targeting the RMB 400k-550k Sweet Spot

The V9 is offered in three trims: Pro (RMB 399,800), Max (RMB 469,800), and Ultra (RMB 529,800). The Ultra directly competes with the Li Auto L9 Ultra (RMB 559,800) and Aito M9 Ultra (RMB 569,800), offering similar or better technology at a lower price point.

Why the V9 is a Hit

① Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 – World-first production model with 896‑line LiDAR and end‑to‑end navigation assist from parking space to destination.

② HarmonyOS Cockpit – Powered by a new AI assistant with 15.6‑inch main screen, 12.3‑inch passenger screen, and 17.3‑inch rear folding 3K display with 23‑speaker HUAWEI SOUND.

③ Tuling Chassis + 800V Architecture – Air suspension and CDC come standard. The EREV version delivers 0‑100 km/h in 4.9s, while the BEV supports 800V fast charging. Combined range reaches 1,250 km.

④ Spacious 2+2+3 Seating – With dimensions of 5,359/2,009/1,859 mm and a 3,250 mm wheelbase, second‑row zero‑gravity seats offer 18‑way adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage. Third‑row seats are also heated and electrically adjustable.

Market Impact and Hong Kong Outlook

The V9’s strong pre‑order performance is reshaping the premium large SUV segment dominated by the Li L9 and Aito M9. For Hong Kong, right‑hand drive plans are yet to be announced, but the V9 is expected to arrive by 2027, offering a compelling alternative to traditional MPVs like the Toyota Alphard. The V9 remains on display at the HIMA booth during the Beijing Auto Show.
