Exeed EX7 Launches from RMB 194,900

Exeed has officially launched the all-new EX7, a mid-to-large SUV available in both pure electric and extended-range (EREV) powertrains. Six variants are offered, with official guide prices ranging from RMB 199,900 to 263,900, and early trade-in prices from RMB 194,900 to 258,900.

Exterior: Family Design with Full-Width Light Bars

The EX7 features split headlights, a full-width upper light bar, and a full-width lower chrome strip. Hidden door handles and a 3,000 mm wheelbase (vehicle dimensions: 4,988/1,975/1,710 mm) provide a spacious cabin.

Interior: AI Smart Cabin 2.0 with 30-inch Screen

The 30-inch integrated display combines the central and passenger screens. The AI Smart Cabin 2.0 includes six voice personalities, wireless charging, a streaming mirror, panoramic sunroof, and rear air vents.

Powertrain: EREV and BEV Options

EREV: 1.5T range extender (115 kW) with 39.816/39.9168 kWh batteries, delivering 182/203 km pure electric range (CLTC) and over 1,200 km total range. BEV: Dual motors (123 kW front, 230 kW rear) with a 97.682 kWh battery, offering 682/726 km CLTC range and 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

Braking: First Aviation-Grade EMB System

The EX7 is among the first production vehicles to feature aviation-grade electromechanical brake-by-wire (EMB), reducing response time by over 30% compared to hydraulic systems.

ADAS: L2+ System

Standard L2+ ADAS includes adaptive cruise, lane centring, AEB, blind-spot monitoring, and auto parking. Higher trims add highway navigation assist.

Charging

The BEV supports 800V fast charging (300 kW), adding 400 km in 15 minutes. Both versions support 3.3 kW V2L discharge.

Market Positioning

Competing with the BYD Tang, Li Auto L7, and Aito M7, the EX7 stands out with its long wheelbase, AI smart cabin, EMB safety, and dual powertrain flexibility. For Hong Kong users frequently travelling to the mainland, this model is worth watching.
