Zeekr has officially launched the 8X, its new high-performance flagship SUV, on April 17. Four variants are offered: Max, Ultra, Ultra+, and Yaoying, with retail prices ranging from RMB 356,800 to 500,800. A limited-time launch offer brings prices down to RMB 329,800–473,800. The 8X reached 10,000 orders in just 29 minutes, with 95.6% for high‑trim versions.

Built on the SEA‑S super hybrid architecture with a full‑stack 900V system, the 8X features a 2.0T hybrid engine and 6C battery packs. The Yaoying’s three‑motor megawatt system delivers 1,030 kW (1,400 hp), achieving 0‑100 km/h in 2.96 seconds. CLTC range reaches up to 410 km (pure electric) and 1,416 km (combined). The 900V 6C ultra‑fast charging charges from 20% to 80% in just 9 minutes.

The 8X debuts China‘s first cockpit‑ADAS‑integrated super agent, powered by the WAM world behaviour model. The new G‑ASD 4.0 system and Super Eva AI assistant offer seamless driving assistance. Standard ADAS hardware includes a single NVIDIA Thor‑U chip and LiDAR, while the Yaoying edition features two Thor‑U chips and 43 sensors.

Safety features include standard G‑AEB, G‑AES, and SOS emergency stop, with the vehicle passing extreme tests including a seven‑car pile‑up simulation. The interior offers five‑ or six‑seat layouts, dual 16‑inch 3.5K screens, Naim audio, and 137° recline Eames lounge chairs. The Zeekr 8X marks a historic breakthrough for Chinese luxury brands in the high‑performance SUV segment, competing directly with BMW M, Mercedes‑AMG, and Audi RS.
