Wey has officially opened global pre-orders for the V9X, the first flagship model built on the new Guiyuan S platform. Positioned as an “AI luxury six-seat flagship,” the V9X is offered in three variants with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 371,800 to 411,800. The vehicle features the Super Hi4 plug-in hybrid system, 800V architecture, 6C ultra-fast charging, and comes standard with dual-chamber air suspension and rear-wheel steering.

The Guiyuan S platform supports five powertrain types — petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, pure electric, and hydrogen — with flexible wheelbase configurations, all meeting global five-star safety standards.

The Super Hi4 system pairs a 2.0T hybrid engine with front and rear electric motors and a 4-speed DHT. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds with full charge and 4.8 seconds even with low battery. WLTC fuel consumption is 6.3 L/100 km. Battery options: 53.6 kWh (240 km range) and 77.7 kWh (363 km range), with 6C charging adding 200 km in 5 minutes.

Two sizes are available: standard wheelbase (5,205 mm length, 3,050 mm wheelbase) and long wheelbase (5,299 mm length, 3,150 mm wheelbase). The 2+2+2 layout features second-row zero-gravity seats with 123° recline and 22-point massage. A 21.4-inch 4K QD-MiniLED screen and 31-speaker, 3,080W Coffee AI Sound system are standard.

The V9X features 27 sensors including LiDAR, a 700 TOPS computing chip, and dual VLA models for urban and highway NOA. The cockpit is powered by a Snapdragon 8295P chip.
All variants come with dual-chamber air suspension and ±10° rear-wheel steering, reducing the turning radius of this nearly 5.3-metre SUV to under 5 metres.

High-strength steel, magnesium and aluminium account for 88% of the body structure, with maximum strength of 2,200 MPa. Active safety features include AEB, RAEB, AES, and 160 km/h dual-wheel blowout stability control.

Pre-sale benefits include a RMB 3,000 deposit expanding to RMB 10,000 towards the final payment, and either a RMB 10,000 trade-in subsidy across all brands or 3‑year zero‑interest financing. The V9X will debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24 and is expected to launch in May 2026.
