Li Auto has officially announced that its all-new flagship SUV, the Li Auto L9 Livis, will make its global debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Priced at RMB 559,800, the vehicle is positioned as an “embodied intelligent flagship SUV” and is scheduled for market launch in the second quarter of 2026. The L9 Livis achieves breakthrough advancements in intelligent driving, chassis control, and energy systems.

Exterior: Evolved family design with two-tone paint

The L9 Livis retains Li Auto‘s signature design language with refined details. The integrated full-width light bar is now flush with the front fascia. A smaller grille and optional two-tone paint, finished with triple-layer lacquer and hand-polished detailing, elevate the premium feel. Dimensions: length 5,255 mm, width 2,000 mm, height 1,810 mm, wheelbase 3,125 mm.

Intelligent Driving: In-house Mach 100 chips with 2,560 TOPS

The L9 Livis is powered by two 5nm self-developed Mach 100 chips, delivering 2,560 TOPS — three times the effective computing power of the NVIDIA Thor-U, making it the most powerful production ADAS brain to date. The vehicle is equipped with four LiDAR units for 360 degree coverage, and UWB near-field sensing technology replaces traditional ultrasonic sensors.

Chassis: 800V fully active suspension + complete by-wire chassis

The L9 Livis features an 800V fully independent active suspension system, with each wheel delivering over 10,000 newtons of lifting force. Traditional anti-roll bars are eliminated, enabling millisecond-level response and near-perfect body control. The world‘s first mass production “complete” by-wire chassis integrates steer by wire, four wheel steering, and the world’s first fully electromechanical brake (EMB) system, providing multiple layers of safety redundancy.

Powertrain and Range: Third-gen EREV with 5C ultra-fast charging

The L9 Livis is powered by Li Auto‘s third-generation 1.5T range extender, achieving WLTC fuel consumption of just 6.3 L/100 km. The 72.7 kWh ternary lithium battery supports 5C ultra-fast charging, delivering a CLTC pureelectric range of 420 km and a total range exceeding 1,500 km.

Interior: Six seat layout with premium comfort

The L9 Livis retains a six seat layout with genuine leather seats featuring heating, ventilation, and massage for the first and second rows. A 15.7 inch rear entertainment screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P powered cockpit with OLED displays complete the experience.

Conclusion

Priced at RMB 559,800, the L9 Livis marks Li Auto‘s strategic shift from component stacking to core technology development. With breakthroughs in chips, chassis, suspension, and range extender technology, it stands out as a flagship offering in the premium large SUV segment. While official availability in Hong Kong has yet to be confirmed, the model is certainly worth watching for local enthusiasts as the Greater Bay Area‘s new energy vehicle ecosystem continues to mature.
