The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore features a unique T-shaped battery installed along the central tunnel (where the traditional transmission would be) rather than covering the entire floor. The main advantage is that passengers don't sit directly above the battery, resulting in a lower, more centralised centre of gravity for more agile handling.
