The Nissan Serena e-POWER features the second-generation e-POWER hybrid system, combining a 1.4-litre inline-3 petrol engine (primarily used as a generator) with a 120kW high-output electric motor. The motor produces 163 hp and 315 Nm of torque, comparable to a traditional 3.0-litre engine. The system is equipped with a 1.77 kWh lithium battery, allowing short-distance electric driving, but mainly relies on the engine to generate electricity for the motor – no external charging is required.
