The current-generation Acura RDX is powered by a 2.0-litre inline-4 VTEC turbocharged engine producing approximately 272 hp and 380 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive). The previous generation (2013-2018) also offered a 3.5-litre V6 naturally aspirated engine option.
