The new Suzuki Swift features a newly developed 1.2-litre inline-3 naturally aspirated engine (Z12E) paired with an ISG 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 81 hp and 11.4 kgm of torque, mated to a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive. The high-performance Suzuki Swift Sport retains the 1.4-litre BoosterJet turbocharged engine, producing 140 hp and 230 Nm, with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

新一代 Suzuki Swift 採用全新開發嘅 1.2 公升直列三缸自然吸氣引擎（編號 Z12E），配合 ISG 48V 輕混能系統，最大馬力 81 匹，峰值扭力 11.4 kgm，配 CVT 無段變速自動波箱及前輪驅動。高性能版 Suzuki Swift Sport 沿用 1.4 公升 BoosterJet 渦輪增壓引擎，最大馬力 140 匹，扭力 230 Nm，配 6 速棍波或自動波。
