Automotive Event 1: GAC Officially Enters the Moroccan Market 

 Recently, GAC Group officially announced entry into the Moroccan market. On July 8, GAC partnered with local Moroccan automotive group M-AUTOMOTIV to hold a brand launch event in Casablanca. Targeting the Moroccan market, GAC will initially layout three strategic SUVs, covering three mainstream scenarios: city commuting, energy-saving family use, and long-distance high-end travel. A diverse power layout of fuel, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid can fully adapt to the differentiated mobility needs of local consumers.

Automotive Event 2: Zeekr Authorizes Three Malaysian Dealers 

Recently, Zeekr Smart Technology Malaysia (Zeekr Malaysia) announced the expansion of its authorized dealer network, signing dealer cooperation agreements with Sri Martan Market in North Kuala Lumpur and Sri Alam in Kuching, perfecting the nationwide dealer network, retail, and after-sales service layout to cope with the trend of sustained growth in demand for high-end electric vehicle markets. It is worth noting that Zeekr becomes the first Chinese high-end car brand to land and layout in East Malaysia.

Through comprehensive layout, Zeekr already has 11 dealerships in Malaysia, plans to expand to 18 before the end of 2026, providing barrier-free brand contact channels for Malaysian consumers in different regions, further covering car purchase and service needs in the North and South areas of the Malay Peninsula. The expanded network will strengthen Zeekr Malaysia's retail layout on the Malay Peninsula and in East Malaysia, improve customer convenience and optimize service experience, and lay a solid foundation for the brand to continuously enrich its product lineup in Malaysia and create a more complete high-end car buying journey.

Automotive Event 3: BYD Thailand Cumulative Deliveries Break 130,000 Units 

Recently, BYD Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced that the cumulative deliveries of BYD new energy vehicles in the Thai market have officially surpassed 130,000 units. At the same time, the Thailand factory welcomed its second anniversary of production, the BYD SEALION 5 DM-i Standard edition was simultaneously launched for pre-sale, with a pre-sale price of 699,900 Thai Baht (currently equivalent to approx. 142,100 RMB).

According to reports, the 130,000th new energy vehicle model in BYD Thailand market is BYD SEALION 5 DM-i. The car owner is Usa Samkham, the actor who plays 'Grandma' in the movie 'Letter to Grandma'. This delivery not only witnessed the important moment when BYD cumulative deliveries broke 130,000 units but also reflects that new energy vehicles are gaining recognition from more and more Thai consumers.
