On October 11, the Avatr T09 Concept made its global debut in Paris, with the interior design revealed for the first time. From October 12 to 18, it appeared at the Paris Motor Show. According to official information, the T09 is the inaugural model of the Avatr flagship series, expected to officially launch within 2026, targeting the 500,000-level flagship luxury SUV market. In this price bracket, it was previously a place where Chinese brands found it difficult to plant a flag. What Avatr wants to do this time is not simply move up, but to switch to a luxury grammar.

This grammar is called "Emotional New Luxury". Nader Faghihzadeh, Executive Vice President and Chief Designer of Avatr Technology, said that the T09 transforms the concept of VISION XPECTRA into a steady and confident temperament of reverence, opening up "Reverent Luxury" for Avatr. Avatr Technology Chairman Chen Zhuo explained the product series very clearly: After the T09 is launched, Avatr forms two major series, Digital and Flagship. The Digital series is casual luxury, corresponding to elegance, sportsmanship, and personality; the Flagship series is reverent luxury, corresponding to nobility, calmness, and presence. Two series, the same Avatr, the same persistence in originality and taste.

Looking at the design of the T09, one can feel that Avatr is deliberately avoiding "material-stacking luxury". The front face has a strong architectural feel; the grille uses a 3D relief structure, with 362 Avatr LOGO elements of different 3D heights connected in a well-planned manner; the crystal diamond array headlight group uses an inner and outer double-layer diamond cut design; the 2.1m² super-large clamshell front hood combined with the island-like bulges on both sides has enough momentum, but doesn't rely on exaggerated lines to scare. The side features razor-sharp lines, waist-contraction curves, D-pillar aluminum trim, floating roof, and crystal decorative door handles, forming a dynamic tension intricately woven with precision, power, and sculptural depth. The rear integrated crystal diamond taillights echo the front lights, looking crystal clear when lit. Chinese original design, this time in the fashion capital of Paris, did not show weakness.

The cockpit is another focus of the T09. The industry-exclusive Vortex Emotional Vortex adopts a 360° seamless two-stage concave surface and liftable design, built-in 118 RGB LED matrix light sources, which can be combined with the entire vehicle ambient light to create various smart light effects; silent motor and anti-pinch function, making emotional interaction not just a visual gimmick. The immersive integrated triple-screen is composed of a 10.25-inch driver's dashboard and dual 17.2-inch center console screens and passenger screens, seamlessly integrated with air vents on both sides, built-in NFC, touch and connect. Technology is no longer a cold stacking of functions, but a travel partner that can perceive, predict, and resonate. This sentence sounds like a slogan, but sitting in the T09 cockpit, one can at least see that Avatr is working in this direction.

On the technical level, the T09 is the production model with the highest technical density Avatr has achieved so far. It integrates Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving, HarmonyOS Cockpit, and the new Taixing Smart Control technology, equipped with the new intelligent super hybrid technology, featuring a 2.0T hybrid engine and three-motor distributed electric drive, system total power exceeds 1000 horsepower; 71.24kWh CATL Xiaoyao Super Extended Hybrid Battery, CLTC pure electric range exceeds 400km. These parameters placed in the 500,000-level market, the competitiveness is not weak. But what Avatr really wants to prove is not how long the spec sheet is, but that Chinese brands can also blend original design, intelligent technology, and flagship quality into an overall experience.
In terms of overseas layout, Avatr's pace is faster than many imagined. Currently, overseas business has expanded to 70 countries and regions, with an average product selling price exceeding 300,000 yuan, and profitability has been achieved. The market share of high-end EVs in Egypt reaches 10%; Avatr 11 ranks first in sales in Thailand's luxury pure electric SUV market. In 2027, Avatr will officially enter Europe, with Avatr 06T and 07L as the first batch of core products entering markets such as Norway and Spain. In 2030, Avatr plans to enter more than 110 countries and regions, with overseas sales accounting for more than 50% of total sales. The supporting overseas service system, with the principle of "Unified Standards, Local Execution, System Support, Brand Supervision", aims for more flexible services and more consistent experiences.

The 500,000-level luxury SUV was previously the stronghold of BBA. What Avatr T09 faces is not just product competition, but also the hard battle of brand perception. Europe is the birthplace of luxury cars and also the highest standard for testing luxury quality. 2027 is the real major exam. But the Paris debut at least proves one thing: Chinese brands moving up are starting to have their own grammar, no longer relying solely on specification sheets.
