In the global new energy official vehicle sector, BYD's recent dual breakthroughs at home and abroad are gaining momentum thanks to its robust capabilities.

The 2026 first-half financial report indicates that BYD's overseas sales of passenger cars and pickups neared 790,000 units, representing a 67.9% increase year-on-year. The business covers over 120 countries and regions, ranking number one in new energy brand sales in core markets like the UK, Brazil, and Thailand.

Beyond the civilian market foundation, the official vehicle business has entered a stage of multi-point growth: Securing the Uzbekistan national 'Friendship Medal', bulk deployments of police and official vehicles in Pakistan, the Philippines, Mexico, and other countries, with Cape Verde, Hungary, and Austria successively including them in their official vehicle systems.

The domestic market also remains firmly at the top, retaining the first place in new energy official vehicle government procurement sales for the first half of 2026 with a market share exceeding 22%. Its full-category product matrix can cover various government affairs scenarios.

BYD's sequential inclusion in overseas official fleets is indeed worth attention. From the past monopoly of joint venture brands in the official vehicle sector to today's Chinese brands exporting to global government markets, this reflects a dual upgrade in Chinese new energy vehicle technology and brand credibility, serving as a typical signal of Chinese intelligent manufacturing advancing into high-end fields.
