On September 28, the CFMOTO Aspar Team visited Hangzhou, with itinerary highlights including a tour of the CFMOTO Hangzhou headquarters and a rider meetup. Two days prior, the team completed test drives of new CFMOTO models in Shanghai. After the Hangzhou stop, they will head north to Beijing to complete the final leg of this China tour.

Just one week ago, 13-year-old Chinese rider Sun Shengbo, cultivated by CFMOTO's "CFMOTO RACING Genius Plan", was crowned the ESBK Talent Group (formerly Moto4 Group) annual champion in advance, becoming the first Chinese rider to win the annual title in a top Spanish youth competition.
A world champion team visits a China-based motorcycle intelligent manufacturing base, while a Chinese youth stands on a European champion's podium — the two events that occurred within a week outline two core directions of CFMOTO's global racing strategy: On one hand, the continuous transformation and implementation of track limit racing technology into consumer mass-production models; on the other, the construction of a complete rider development system to lift Chinese youth riders to international arenas.
Champion Riders Test Drive "Champion Models": Track Technology Accelerates towards Mass Production
On September 26, CFMOTO Aspar Team champion riders joined top domestic rider Dupont to test drive three representative CFMOTO models at Shanghai Tianma Circuit — the newly launched 500SR Electronic Clutch Edition, the public class super sports V4 SR-RR that set the domestic top speed record, and the MINI25 Prototype racing bike specifically built for youth riders.
The 500SR Electronic Clutch Edition officially launched on September 10. The electronic clutch technology carried by the model stems from CFMOTO's years of accumulation in the field of racing electronic control — from precise control in extreme conditions on the MotoGP track to lowering the threshold for novices on consumer vehicles and enhancing driving pleasure, technology flows naturally between racing and mass production. After the test drive, the champion riders gave high praise to the smoothness of its power response and the maturity of the electronic control system.

The V4 SR-RR is CFMOTO's flagship work of "Racing Promotes R&D". In June this year, rider Dupont drove the vehicle to set a new record of 315.82km/h for the top speed of motorcycles in China. The vehicle is equipped with CFMOTO's independently developed 997cc 90° V4 water-cooled four-cylinder engine, adopting MotoGP homologated reverse crankshaft technology, with a maximum RPM of 15000, maximum power 157kW (over 210 horsepower), the vehicle dry weight is controlled at around 180 kilograms, the dry weight to horsepower ratio is only 0.86, comprehensively matching global top supercars in key indicators such as power output, lightweight control, and high-speed stability. The power curve, chassis stiffness, and electronic control algorithms repeatedly verified on the race track eventually settle into mass-production performance that ordinary consumers can experience.

Among the three models, the MINI25 Prototype has a relatively special positioning. It is not aimed at the mass consumer market but is specifically built for youth rider daily training. The vehicle is equipped with a 300cc engine, full aluminum alloy racing chassis, full-section titanium alloy exhaust, and 12-inch wheels. The mass-production version of this model, in addition to serving global young rider training, is also expected to become a race bike for more youth competitions in the future, filling the supply gap in high-performance youth training racing bikes. It is worth mentioning that Sun Shengbo, Liu Shanxu and other young riders of the CFMOTO Genius Plan grew up step by step riding the same training bikes at the Aspar base.

Liu Xiaofang, General Manager of CFMOTO Motorsports Management Center, stated on site: "Racing is the most stringent trial field for technology, but technology cannot stay on the track. We engage in world-class motorcycle racing in the hope that those technologies verified by limits will finally be mounted on motorcycles for consumers' daily riding. This is the original intention of CFMOTO's layout in motorsports, and the true value of racing investment." R&D, Brand, and Manufacturing integrated as one, using racing as a link to complete technology iteration and implementation, these three models are practical results under this strategic thinking of "Racing Promotes R&D, Research and Application Combined".
From One Champion to a Group of Champions: Genius Plan Opens International Advancement Path for Chinese Racing Youth
Sun Shengbo's name has recently appeared frequently in the field of Chinese racing enthusiasts. This 13-year-old Chinese youth secured the annual champion in the ESBK Talent Group this season with a record of 12 races, 9 wins, and 1 second place, locking the annual champion in advance, and was awarded the annual champion exclusive Golden Helmet honor, rewriting the history of Chinese riders in European youth motorcycle competitions. His growth starting point is exactly the "CFMOTO RACING Genius Plan" launched by CFMOTO in 2023.

The rider training path of the Genius Plan, simply put, is a three-step cycle of "Domestic Selection — European Special Training — Competition Advancement": Select talented and persistent youth riders across the country, transport them to the Spanish Aspar Team base to obtain systematic and professional training and race support, and climb up step by step along the mature European competition advancement system. Currently, the Genius Plan has 7 signed youth riders. Except for Sun Shengbo, another Chinese youth, Liu Shanxu, won his first championship in the 2026 Spanish MIR Racing Aspar Cup, and Zhong Wenze continues to fight and accumulate experience in competitions such as the Moto4 Asia Cup.
Where does this road lead? CFMOTO Aspar Team current rider Quiers gave the best reference. Six years ago, he won the annual vice-champion of the ESBK Moto4 Group. Relying on Aspar system's mature training path, he grew from a youth rider all the way to a Moto3 World Championship top rider — in the 2025 season, he won the Moto3 Best Rookie of the Year; in the 2026 season, he has already won 9 race wins, led the Moto3 standings with 306 points, 131 points ahead of the second place after the Austria race, and has confirmed promotion to Moto2 for the 2027 season. From youth competitions to Moto3 and then to Moto2, this is a growth path repeatedly verified by Aspar's nearly 30 years of youth training practice. This system has produced 6 World Champions and is now opening its doors to young Chinese riders.
Su Zhen, Head of the CFMOTO Rider Development Department, talked about the project goal: "The Genius Plan is not simply sending talented youth abroad to compete, but allowing them to truly integrate into international training and competitive environments, growing under the same standards on the same track. CFMOTO will continue to increase investment, and our clear goal is to help more Chinese riders stand on the international top stage of Moto3 and even higher-level international competitions."
Champion Visits "Future Factory": Witnessing China's Motorcycle Intelligent Manufacturing Hard Power
The itinerary of the Hangzhou stop created a real connection between track resources far away in Europe and China's local manufacturing power. Champion riders visited the CFMOTO motorcycle culture exhibition hall to understand the brand's development history, and then walked into its Hangzhou base located at the group headquarters to personally witness the entire process of motorcycles driving off the production line one by one.
What they saw was a production line driven by data. At the CFMOTO Hangzhou base, the complete vehicle production line is entirely AGV intelligent flexible production line, capable of mixed line production. On average, one motorcycle goes off the line every minute and a half. Supporting this flexible manufacturing is the Industrial Internet Platform known as the "Factory Brain", which connects R&D, procurement, production, and logistics. For a custom motorcycle, over 2000 parts and more than 600 processes can be delivered in the fastest 7 days.

CFMOTO Hangzhou Base
Relying on this system, CFMOTO has been awarded the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's First Batch of Excellent Smart Factories, National Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Factory, and Zhejiang Province's First Batch of "Future Factories". Currently, CFMOTO has formed a global manufacturing layout of "One Enterprise, Multiple Bases" in China, Thailand, and Mexico. Products are sold to over 100 countries and regions, with global sales stores reaching 9000.
For champion riders who have been fighting on the track for years, this was a rare on-site observation: the pursuit of limit performance parameters on the track is exactly what relies on this precise, flexible, and highly coordinated local manufacturing system to transform into a series of motorcycle products.
During the Hangzhou stop, champion riders also walked out of the factory and track, towards ordinary motorcycle enthusiasts, signing, posing for photos, and interacting, allowing the public to feel the charm of MotoGP racing culture up close, and also allowing CFMOTO's brand image to further extend from the track to urban daily life.
Long-termism Layout: Racing Drives CFMOTO Brand Globalization Upward
This CFMOTO Aspar Team China tour was not only a meeting between the team and fans, but also a centralized display of CFMOTO's global racing strategy. CFMOTO's cooperation with the Aspar Team started in 2024, and both parties have renewed the contract until 2031 — this means that in the coming years, CFMOTO will continue to compete on two lines in Moto2 and Moto3, and simultaneously promote young rider development. Investment on a ten-year dimension highlights its determination of long-termism.
Looking back at CFMOTO's journey into MotoGP, the growth speed has been highly concerned by the industry. In 2022, CFMOTO appeared on the Moto3 track for the first time as the only Chinese manufacturer; just two years later in 2024, it won the three world championships of Moto3 rider, team, and manufacturer in one go; in the same year, CFMOTO also became the first Chinese brand to win in the Moto2 competition. In the 2026 season, the CFMOTO Aspar Team attacked the champion title simultaneously on two lines in Moto2 and Moto3, every step was brushing up the international participation records of Chinese motorcycle brands.
The achievements on the race track are accelerating into market recognition. Currently, CFMOTO's fuel motorcycle overseas sales have exceeded the domestic market, completing the key leap from "Made in China" to "Global Brand". As a global motorcycle competition IP that belongs to the top tier along with F1, MotoGP itself is an efficient stage for brand internationalization — in core markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and Americas, CFMOTO's brand volume continues to climb with every start and every championship win.
After ending the Hangzhou stop itinerary, the CFMOTO Aspar Team will set off for Beijing to complete the concluding tour of this China tour. From Shanghai, Hangzhou to Beijing, everywhere the champion team went, they brought not only signatures and photos, but also a whole set of stories about Chinese motorcycle speed, technology, and growth — the stories have lightning speed on the MotoGP series race track, technical deposition in mass production models, and more, the dream-chasing steps of Chinese youth in the Genius Plan rushing to world race tracks.
