XPeng's breakthrough in the Egyptian market was no accident. Since entering Egypt in 2024, XPeng has partnered with local top enterprises and successfully implemented an integrated "Product + Channel + Service" overseas model. In April 2026, XPeng G6 and G9 topped the sales charts in Egypt's high-end pure electric SUV sub-market, ranking second overall in new vehicle registrations. According to Egyptian local media Masrawy, XPeng led the registration volume of high-end electric vehicles in Egypt in the first half of 2026. Its G9 ranked first in the high-end electric SUV sub-market, while G6 led in the high-end compact SUV category; both models maintained strong sequential growth. During the same period, XPeng also ranked in the top three in Egypt's overall electric vehicle registrations and has consistently remained in the top ten electric vehicle registration brands in the country since the end of 2025.

Leading in the Egyptian market is a microcosm of XPeng's overall acceleration in overseas business. In the second quarter of 2026, XPeng's overseas sales broke through 20,000 units for the first time, an 81% year-on-year increase. Overseas business revenue reached 8.23 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a 62.2% year-on-year increase, accounting for over 25% of the group's total revenue. The average export price exceeded 40,000 euros, and single-vehicle revenue and gross margin were at the leading level of Chinese automakers going global.

Looking at specific markets, XPeng has ranked first in sales volume among Chinese new energy pure electric brands in five countries: France, Norway, Israel, Denmark, and Portugal. In terms of models, the XPeng G6 ranked first in sales volume among Chinese brands in the pure electric mid-size SUV market in seven countries including France, Israel, Denmark, and Germany; the G9 topped the sales volume of all brands in the medium-to-large pure electric SUV market in four countries including Norway, Denmark, Portugal, and Israel, defeating traditional luxury brands such as Volvo and Audi; the X9 also took the lead in the Southeast Asian high-end pure electric MPV markets such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. As of the end of August, XPeng's global map has covered 79 countries and regions, with overseas stores exceeding 500 and global charging piles breaking 3 million. XPeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng set a goal: overseas sales to double to over 90,000 units in 2026, overseas revenue share to exceed 20%, and overseas sales to account for half of total sales in the next five years.
