[CNMO Tech News] Hyundai signed the "France Future Mobility School Cooperation Agreement" with the Korean Education Institute in France at the Korean Embassy to France in Paris on September 7, marking the official entry of the Hyundai Future Mobility School project into Europe. Kim Sung, President of Strategy and Planning at Hyundai Motor Group, and Jeong Sang-myeong, President of the Korean Education Institute in France, attended the signing ceremony, and both parties reached a consensus on establishing the first education base in Europe.
The Future Mobility School is a global education project developed by Hyundai, aimed at helping teenagers understand future technology and industry changes through experiential learning. The project dates back to 2016, at which time Hyundai cooperated with the South Korean Ministry of Education to start as a career experience program in South Korean primary and secondary schools. After nearly a decade of development, by the end of 2025, approximately 110,000 students from about 2,700 schools worldwide will complete the program curriculum.
This entry into France is of landmark significance; it is the first time the Future Mobility School has stepped onto the European continent. It is worth noting that, considering the growing interest in Korean culture and language within France, Hyundai decided to adopt Korean language teaching materials for the first time in Korean schools in France, which is the first time in the global promotion process of the project.
Since 2023, Hyundai has cooperated with the Asia-Pacific Centre for Education for International Understanding under UNESCO to expand the operational scope of the Future Mobility School to ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Laos. This move into France represents a strategic extension of Hyundai extending its reach to the next generation from Asia to the European market.
